For a second, I could not believe my eyes. I saw a headline, or at least I thought I did, which went like this: "Pawlenty Questions Bachmann's Fitness." I rose out of my chair and exclaimed hallelujah, because here in the person of Tim Pawlenty, the former governor of Minnesota, was a Republican willing to say that Michele Bachmann was not qualified to be President; moreover, up to that very moment, not a single other Great Republican had been willing to say anything like this. But it was true, of course, it was true.

It is now obvious the polish wore off the turd.
RINO criticizes Conservative. News at 11:00. They don’t even hand out cigars anymore.
batty. 1)A slang term of Jamaican origin referring to the male anus. 2)A slang term for a homosexual 3)concatenation of the jamaican words for the human posterior (batty)-Urban Dictionary.
BTW...I like MB but I do not think that she can win. For a GOP candidate to beat dear leader that candidate must pull 12-20 million votes away from the numbers who voted for him in 08. I do not see that happening with MB or SP.
Except for the 'Romney' part, I am with ya!
cohen really means that she has no marxism in her like mccain and the left’s other poofter loving repubics.
[Beleg] I would think Debbie Wasserman-Schmuck would be the appropriate comparison. She makes even Cohen look sane (at least he can put two sentences together that end up making sense).
Do I understand you guys correctly? That you both think Michele Bachmann is "batty"? And that Bachmann should be compared to the infamous lowlife Debbie Wasserman-Schulz of Florida, the poster girl for the intellectual and moral decay of the Democratic Party?
It would clone the losing McCain-Palin ticket of 2008, but with a presidential candidate whose credentials for engaging Obozo are even weaker than McCain's, primarily because, anticipating he might face Romney, Obozo and his co-felons in Congress explicitly and deliberately shaped Obozocare to resemble Romney's fetid Sovietcare program from five years ago in Massachusetts.
Any ticket led by Romney would be fatally ill-suited to campaign against Obama and his Cloward-Piven wrecking crew.
Put Bachmann at the top of the ticket and you have a much different proposition, assuming Romney's nowhere around. A Bachmann candidacy would have its own problems, but we'd be fortunate to have her services as Chief Executive, should she win.
RomneyCare=ObamaCare forgetaboutit. Palin-Bachmann ticket!
That's not the issue. The issue is, which candidate is best for our country? We have a number of candidates and potential candidates. Which one do we want to vote for in the primaries?
I specifically phrased my original response to NOT say that. No I don't think she's batty.
I was simply using the rhetorical device of accepting an opponent's premise merely for the sake of argument, and making the point that even if one thinks she is batty, she is nowhere near as batty as Richard Cohen.
You reminded me of this:
I forgot the graphic language warning on the above song... be warned.
Really? How do you know YOU got it exactly right? I took it totally differently. Maybe I got it exactly right. Maybe he’ll explain exactly which way he meant it.
“He is the one who is batty not Michelle Bachmann.”
I am very sorry if I gave the impression I am anything less than a great fan of Michelle Bachmann. I wrote very poorly and meant to say that if anyone should be considered batty it would DW-S, not in any way Michelle.
Many apologies for typing like an idiot.
I for one would never vote for Romney. Bachmann is a force to be reckoned with, though.
