This sounds like good news...The leader of the Black Socialist Caucus says the debt deal is a “sugar-coated Satan sandwich.” That must mean it is a much better deal than we had hoped for.

With time running out to reach an agreement to raise the debt ceiling before Tuesday’s default deadline, Obama moved dramatically in the direction of the GOP, according to Senators and aides in both parties...
...Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, said early reports of the new deal appeared to be “a sugar-coated Satan sandwich.” The Missouri Democrat said the CBC hadn’t yet made a formal declaration that the group would oppose it, “but this is a shady bill.”
“This deal trades people’s livelihoods for the votes of a few unappeasable right-wing radicals, and I will not support it,” ripped Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.), co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, before House Democrats had even been briefed. “The lesson today is that Republicans can hold their breath long enough to get what they want.”

Cleaver is a United Methodist pastor for what that’s worth. And, oddly enough, was a big Hillary supporter which got him an Uncle Tom label.

Satan Sandwich? Cleaver’s sermons (if he ever gives them I didn’t know he was a Pastor) must be fun.
Yup, and obummercare is still alive. That is the largest tax increase ever, and will redistribute more wealth than ever.
According to Chris Plante (radio talk-show host in Wash, DC) Cleaver is also the congressman that accused a Tea Party supporter of spitting on him at a rally.

The interesting thing is that it is “A Sugar-Coated Satan Sandwich” more for the conservatives than for the liberals.
Yea, and people like Sharpton et al are still mentioning it like it really happened.
Breitbart offered 100 G's to anyone that had a video that proved that.
And there were multiple cameras and cell phones documenting when the dems decided to walk the gauntlet among the tea party types (instead of using their underground tunnel.)
No one tried to collect, so you know it was a big lie.
It fits in with the liberal tactic that it's not if something is true or not, it's the fact that the charge is horrible.
