Good point. Though I do believe Oswald had some help.

Interestingly, one of the least-popular versions of the Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories is the KGB theory - this despite the fact that Oswald defected to the Soviet Union and spent almost half his adult life behind the Iron Curtain.

When it comes to really bad Presidents, LBJ is easily in the top 5.
I'll go further and say he was THE worst of all time. He gave us: Fifty years later and working class Americans are still paying the price.

My father had watched LBJ swearing in. I remember my father told me that by the look in vice president’s eyes that my father knew Johnson had something to do with JFK’s death.

My mother who passed away in March at 89 y.o. made that same exact comment repeatedly over the past 45+ years. She was convinced. Said LBJ had a smirk on his face like the cat that ate the canary.

Anyone who who accepted the Warren report uncritically is beyond such touchy feeley diagnostics aids.

No investigator has ever had complete access to all information and much information was never available to the Warren Commission or anyone else.

That being said, there is such a principle as Occam's razor, and Kennedy's assassination is not exempt from that universal principle of logic.

I once asked my Dad who he thought was the biggest crook he had seen in the White House.

He said that it wasn’t Nixon, whom I thought would be his answer. He said that Nixon just got caught. He said LBJ.

He didn’t live to see “O magnificient one.” If he had he might have changed his opinion.

From the day Kennedy was killed I said Johnson was behind the death..The old drunk Johnson wanted to be president in the worse way..Isn’t that how most democrats get what they want..

Does the old drunk Biden have any such aspirations?

My grandma always thought Johnson did it, but honestly there were so many people inside and outside the country that wanted to get rid of him, it will probably never be known with certainty who was behind it.

Even the religion of peace due to Bobby’s visit and support of Isreal, not to mention the backlash from the assasinations they ordered. Some of the intelligence agencies may know, but if they have spilled the beans, the media has not reported it.

That is pretty bad. I consider going to the bathroom especailly #2 a private moment and moment not to be shared.

On LBJ, wouldn’t surprise me that he had a part on assassinating JFK. I know he also started down the road to get the American car industry to head for ruin.

> LBJ was an animal. He used to make staffers enter the rest room and take notes from him while he was on the john.

He was a great actor. Why did he stoop so low as to have an affair with her?

Back in 1968, National Inquirer, if memory serves me correctly, showed telephoto shots... “

LOL. This has been one fun thread!

You must mean after the 1964 election. I don't believe there were any TV cameras present on the plane in Dallas.
As far as I know, this is the only photo of that...

Let’s hear it for our parents - who were no fools and could not be fooled.

Now, LBJ is in the hands of the One (not Obama) who cannot be fooled.

The LBJ connection makes sense for the following reasons:

1. Assassination took place in Texas [LBJ's Home]

2. Before the 1968 election, LBJ backed out of re-election with the look of a ghost scare on his face in that announcement. Something shook him up, like disclosure of the assassination.

3. The Freemasons had to work with the Mafia to accomplish this work. LBJ was a Freemason. And, in terms of conspiracy theory, Kennedy was bucking the Bilderbergers. It is interesting to note that the US stopped minting Silver Coins in 1964 -- probably part of the deal as repayment for co-operation in the assassination and coverup.

4. Vietnam was made into a major foul up as a place to send those who might talk. I imagine some folks might have been killed in Vietnam to keep them quiet.

5. Warren Commission members probably knew they would have to face the wrath of the Mafia and Freemasons if they found this was a conspiracy.

6. LBJ was a Freemason. There was some talk of John F. Kennedy shutting down Masonic Lodges on Military bases before the assassination. This point is unclear, but I have come across this. Kennedy made a number of enemies by trying to make what some consider were needed changes. I heard them from a conservative who said Kennedy was an economic conservative but progressively on social issues such as segretation.
