How many people died in the Martin Luther King, Jr. assassination riots all over the country? I know about a dozen were killed in DC. I fled to my father’s place in the country for 3 days.

Gotcha, will look into it then. I wasn’t sure if it was conjecture, satire, or real. I hadn’t decided how in depth I wanted to get with the London issue. Maybe it’s of more interest than I originally thought.
According to liberals, it is a righteous display of frustration at society’s grotesque abuse of such youths, and, therefore, implicitly an appropriate defense before any liberal judge.
You might want to try the archive at Drudgereport, and see what comes up for two days ago. I found it shortly after the incident happened, and looting had broken out.

It appears this is incorrect. See post 79 for link- the officer claims that he never said the suspect shot at him, only that he (the officer) was in fear for his life. The bullet found in police radio appears to have been police issue. Looks like this may have been a case of friendly fire.
Note to all Brits-don’t sell drugs and wave modified starter pistols at armed police.
This is horrific; this is like rioters in New York deciding to torch Sothebys or Christies, destroying generations of hard work and priceless objects.
This will eventually either eclipse the news of the global and U.S. economy or deepen the problem.

No, they won’t and that will be a smart thing since Britain costs way too much these days to really bother with. There is plenty of places to go, but really, why bother then if there is high prices and a high risk of getting caught up in riots?
The Chinese must laugh at this; they know how to deal brutally with any unrest and they would deal with these rioters in short order, no?
Unbelievable. This guy was apparently mugged and injured, and some bystanders help him to his feet, and then steal the contents of his backpack, while he is so befuddled and stunned, all he can do is submit.

This looked like mixed races, too. The guy who initially began ransacking looked like a white thug to me. But the black guy who “helped” him up, just dug in with gusto.
That would be helpful.
*Black* in Britain is not African descent. It refers more to middle easterners.
My son has some British friends on other internet forums and tells me that the Brits HATE the muslims. If these are muslims rioting, while the country will technically not do much, I wouldn't be surprised to find the people fighting back.
