1 precinct caused Darling to gain 2 points. Encouraging. Hopper not so encouraging though.

Darling still wins in the burbs...so 4-2 for the GOP. They keep the Senate.

I hope you're correct; all that really matters at bottom is keeping the Senate.

Looks like Hopper will be the 2nd GOP loss. Control of the Senate depends on Darling to come from behind.

That's how it looks to me. People on this thread are saying Darling should win, but I can't help but notice a lot of Milwaukee precincts left to come on that may benefit Pasch. If we only lose 2 it's still a victory for us, but Darling really needs to come through tonight.

These are mostly Milwaukee County suburbs, including Darling’s hometown. There isn’t much of the city of milwaukee in her district and the liberal inner suburbs have already reported. It’s still a bit close, but Menomonee Falls hasn’t reported yet and while it isn’t as conservative as it once was, it shouldn’t be a pickup for Pasch.

Let's see what Hoppers wife had to say:

"It is correct that my husband, Randy Hopper, started an affair in January 2010 with a then-25-year-old Republican aide. This affair has caused great emotional pain for my children and me. Randy moved out, without attempting marital counseling, as of May 2010 and now lives mostly in Madison."
