SykesCharlie Charles Sykes Waukesha just now coming in; should go big for Darling.
I believe Pasch had a good lead at one point that has evaporated...
This one could be another Horse Race to the wire:
Pasch , Sandra Dem 20,562 51%
Darling , Alberta (i) GOP 19,675 49%
The Fat Lady has not sung on this one... Either way...
All I can see is it might embolden the Dems and Unions here; we don't need that.
Cheers!
I’m in Alaska and I just got caught up in this.
I have to work a midshift tonight so I really want to go take a nap before work.
LOL!!
Yes, and if we hold it, I expect the WI GOP and Governor Walker to have a renewed confidence!
Darling won Washington Co 73-27.
Waukesha numbers to follow which should be big for her too.
SykesCharlie Charles Sykes @Schneider_CM: If any newspaper wants to make Wisconsin history, go ahead and print a "Pasch Defeats Darling" headline.
Very funny!
If Darling holds we lose the zipper and the guy in the liberal district. And the unions spend valuable millions to remain a minority in a blue state. That would be a fine night.
One word for you. Coffee!! ;-)
One of the Ds under recall next week - Holperin, I believe, is considered highly vulnerable by both Ds and Rs.
That’s good to hear. The CA Republican machine is as inept as it is non-existent.
Oh, please, please, please!
What the heck is up with the FR clock? Am I in a time warp?
23:30 here.
Err, there's a CA Republican machine lol? I'd say nonexistent.
I feel so bad for CA conservatives. It must be hard not to just throw in the towel and give up.
FR system clock’s been hosed for months and months and months . . .
It’s been off since the last server crash.
I’ve got 23:48?
Same warp, wanna have a beer?
Thx every1 for the updates! On the mobile 2night
Did all the counters leave for the night- there hasn’t been an update on JS or AP for a long time now..
Oh, thank G_D. I thought it was me.
It’s just a jump to the left...
The FR clock is right on time. Everyone else’s clocks are off.
Beer would knock me out right now. Instead I’m eating chocolate frosting straight from the spoon :-p. When I get stressed I turn to chocolate and that’s the only chocolate I have at the house right now that’s easily available.
Clocks been off for ages. The future really is ‘now’.
SykesCharlie Charles Sykes @McCormackJohn: In 2008, Darling had 5,000 vote margin in now-unreported Waukesha j.mp/qMCD1s
POINT TO PONDER:
Mandatory Union Dues from government paychecks STOP next month.
After this 30 Million Dollar debacle, how do Unions and the liberal whackjobs intend to finance THE GREAT RECALL! of Scott Walker??
Did the updates stop? nothing in the last 5 minutes?
23:34 as of now - wait for me ... I will be right there ...
3 precincts to count, Hopper behind by 2%.
It’s all up to the incompetent Kathy Nickolaus right now. She’s the one who failed to enter Brookfield’s election night results and caused the Prosser Kloppenburg recount.
Looks like Hopper just lost...
Great news, the Gunowners of Wisconsin need to turn out big next week too, Gov Walker and the Republicans have allowed people of Wisconsin to not only keep but bear their arms. Also, saving the state and localities lots of money and improved their fiscal health unlike most of the Pubs in Washington that cut deals with Dems.
I’m waiting. Come on GOP!
Sanity wins in Wisconsin. Oh happy night divine!
Leftward in the 18th:
State Senate - District 18 - General
August 09, 2011 - 10:31PM CT
Wisconsin - 105 of 108 Precincts Reporting - 97%
Name Party Votes Vote %
King , Jessica Dem 27,123 51%
Hopper , Randy (i) GOP 25,951 49%
I have some M&Ms, but I am afraid to break into them now. I might not stop, and it is one of those ginormous bags from Costco. LOL.
SykesCharlie Charles Sykes @Schneider_CM: Alberta Darling is going to win. And if current trends hold, it will be with about 52% of the vote. #wirecall
AP Story: 3 Wis. Republicans retain seats in recalls: 2 races too close to call
http://news.yahoo.com/3-wis-republicans-retain-seats-recalls-032022595.html
It will have to be national money because most of WI public union members will now be able to not join the union :)
I keep refreshing JS Online, and I keep getting the same numbers.
” danerepublicansDane County GOP
Hopper-King will go to recount! If you want to volunteer to help out, call our office! #wirecall #wiunion “
It actually would be kind of funny if she got the initial Waukesha total wrong again, so the Dems thought they won, then she reported the correct numbers. Kind of like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown.
Sure - it seems I have a few minutes to spare ...
It's getting harder by the day.
Hey... it’s 5:00 somewhere on FR!
I missed the exact point you made in the first line!
I need to get some frosting for myself.
LOL
One thing I will say about tho is that it's always a true joy to see the knowitall/smartass/thread downer types handed a big plate of crow when their 'wisdom' gets flushed down the toilet at the end of the night.
