I know when I got back from Korea I got off the jet in San Francisco Prisidio and got on my hands and knees and kissed American ground.
Thanks for your service.

Thank you Wisconsin! I am sorry they lost two seats but maybe they'll get one back next week. I hope this recall back and forth doesn't become just part of the voting process now.

The most recent leaning I've seen here in WI is that the two dem/lib/prog/pops up for recall are "safe". That is, there are not enough registered Republicans in either area to overturn a strong turnout by the enemy. So the two will probably weather the recall.

That said...the Republicans still hold a majority of seats (+1). Now, what to do with it.

For one...the "recall law" requires amendment. Only in cases of proven law breaking such as a felony conviction, should a recall be allowed. Voting on a needed measure to balance the state budget that is unpopular with the dem/lib/prog/pops, the national unions, the seiu, acorn, and the stain's regime should not be a reason to begin a recall. As an adendum to that addendum, any senator fleeing the state or the state capitol to avoid doing their job is immediately fired and fined $75,000 to be paid immediately. If the coward cannot pay the fine, they will serve one year in jail...not county prison...the state prison.

Just my ideas....

I am forced off to the shower early so I can wake up and come back and read the news a little bit more awake.

I came close to needing to wash the dog this morning. I let her out to pee and there was Pepe at the bottom of the steps. She wanted to explore the little kitty, but I got her attention away from said new friend.

I think there is already a provision for that. There is only to be a recall for just cause. Legislation is not just cause. The process was simply abused here. And no one called them on it.

Isn’t there supposed to be a recall election against Gov. Walker sometime?

Early next year. But the Dems have to be really doubting the viability of a Walker recall at this point, after their definitive lack of power showed last night.

Glad to see my adopted state beat back the thugs. But I understand there’s two more opportunities for the thugs coming up next week. I sure hope the GOP hangs on.

I admit being completely clueless about the “Investigate All 88”. I have no idea what that is. Please educate me...

Jim

We don’t rest here with 4-2 tonight. We defeat Holperin next week to secure a 18-15 advantage. 17-16 is too perilously thin. Throw in everything we’ve got to defeat Holperin and elect Simac. Everybody help.

What you say is true, but Wayne Larivee didn't reserve "the dagger" for just the Superbowl...This victory was a major dagger in the heart of the Union effort to thwart the will of Wisconsinites and we need to celebrate it as such.

Next Tuesday we have another shot. Another day, another dagger!

Why do I suspect that between Dad and his 3 sons there is not one day of military service?

I assume that the new state senate districts will allow for a few more GOP pickups next time around?

Very astute observation and you are exactly correct.

In fact anytime there is any discussion regarding the military or any politically incorrect topics (black flash mobs, rich elitists & millionaires & billionaires for demoRATs not Repubs, union thugs & goons attacking people, corrupt voting practices by the demoRATs, etc) my boss always gets this real smirky look on his face. His youngest son (now a junior at UW-Madison) is the most radical of all.... a real snobbish elitist a__hole. He proudly describes himself as a socialist. I would love to rub last night's election in his face... "Gee what happened? $30 million pumped into the elections by unions plus millions more raised by the demoRAT candidates & PACs, and yet they were resoundingly rejected. What happened"?

If Darling holds we lose the zipper and the guy in the liberal district. And the unions spend valuable millions to remain a minority in a blue state. That would be a fine night.

Went to bed last night, just got to the computer to find that we, indeed had a 'fine night.'

GOOD GOING, WISCONSIN!

(Fight on for your fame. :)

I hope this recall back and forth doesn't become just part of the voting process now.

I predict this will become a primary strategy and practice by the demoRATs from here on out, not only in WI but other states as well. That way they can always keep the Repubs in constant campaigning mode, rather than fixing & restoring the state budgets. The unions & WI demoRATs have already indicated that once Gov Walker hits one year as governor in January, that he is targeted next. The good thing is that with last night's recall elections, in total 55% of the votes cast were for the GOP & re-affirmation for Gov Walker.

Wisconsin is a beacon for us all. They have truly been fighting against the forces of evil.

Praise God that those forces were defeated last night.

Keep praying! This country is not lost yet! God is still at work.

Re-call elections work both ways. There are many areas throughout America where Democrats are vulnerable.
