Walker recall expected to proceed By: David Catanese August 10, 2011 11:53 AM EDT

MADISON, Wis. — Democrats are forging ahead with efforts to recall Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker next year, one day after losing four of six recall elections to oust GOP state senators.

The Tuesday night losses left Democrats a single seat short of overturning GOP control of the state’s upper chamber, though Democratic officials and operatives on the ground insisted Wednesday that their two wins in Republican-leaning areas exposed Walker’s weaknesses.

“If we can do all of this against entrenched Republicans on their own turf, imagine our success … when all of Wisconsin can have its voice heard on Gov. Walker’s extreme, divisive agenda,” Wisconsin state party chairman Mike Tate wrote in a memo to reporters Wednesday.

“The historic gains made tonight to restore balance and accountability to our state, and restore Wisconsin values, will continue when the entire state weighs in on the November 2012 elections — and with the recall of Scott Walker himself,” Tate said.

Standing before a cheering crowd of partisans on the Majestic Theatre stage late Tuesday — when it was still uncertain whether Democrats would flip control of the Senate — an animated Tate was even more defiant: “We will not stop, we will not rest, until we recall Scott Walker from the state of Wisconsin.”

I’m sure glad I don’t have to foot the bill for this ridiculous farce.

Walker has a head start using the governors office to promote the benefits of what he accomplished, as long as they continue to be visible,

Seeing Walker survive a recall will kill those socialists

The more money the Dems, unions, and other left-wing agents spend on low value projects like these recall elections, the less money they’ll have in their warchest for real elections.

It makes me think that some union members are really Republicans in disguise.

The parasites are now attacking the host, openly. Unions are the vehicle to ruin our nation and bankrupt us, wholly.

Recall Walker? You Soros-tard.

The deranged left believes Walker kills teachers

Wisconsin Teacher in Apparent Suicide, “Distraught” Over Walker’s Cuts

Jeri-Lynn Betts, an early childhood teacher in the Watertown, Wisconsin, school district, died on March 8 of an apparent suicide.

A colleague says she was “very distraught” over Gov. Scott Walker’s attacks on public sector workers and public education.

I noticed that their apparently planning to combine the recall election with the 2012 general election. I thought they had so much momentum that they wanted his recall a.s.a.p? Doesn't look like such a vote of confidence for this happening.

And if either of the Rupubs unseats a Dem senator next week, a recall attempt will be suicide.

entrenched Republicans on their own turf

I see. So the six recalls they pursued were against Republicans in safe GOP seats, they left the Republicans in swing districts alone.

That's a really smart strategy.

If they intend to seriously mount an effort to recall a man that just flipped a major financial defect into a surplus, then we are VERY close to them resorting to full blown violence. I would honestly expect the full monty to start upon failure of the recall if not sooner.

If they cannot get him recalled then that is their only option and I have no doubt they will take it. I’m really surprised that rioting didn’t start last night to be honest.
