ANDREWS: The buck stops with … the Tea Party
The Washington Times ^ | August 12, 2011 | John Andrews

Perhaps the most telling moment during the whole of the debt-ceiling negotiations came from White House consultant David Axelrod. Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Mr. Axelrod echoed a growing chant from the left wing: The Standard & Poor’s downgrade of America’s credit rating was “essentially the Tea Party downgrade,” he charged, adding that the “Tea Party brought us to the brink of default.”

I wonder if they realize that by saying this, they are admitting that a non-party is more powerful than the establishment RINOs and Dems combined?

David Axelrod is the brains behind the operation...the head of the snake.

Look at the spike in spending, debt, deficits under Obama! True, the entitlements have ben growing for decades, but these clowns went into overdrive in 2007-2010.

Sadly a large number of soft headed, weak willed Americans believe this nonsense too. Under almost any other administration they could never get away with the problems they’ve caused, and would be laughed at for blaming the opposition for it. But when you control the media, and Americans are as dumbed down as they are, this is the result.

I think, even more important, he acknowledged that it's the TEA Party that's fighting for a balanced budget and mature leadership. The Nation is screaming for Federal Government to stop acting like spoiled children and grow up. David Axelrod gave the TEA Party credit for being the only people working toward that goal. Thanks Dave. Remember to get the name right when you criticize us. We're the Taxed Enough Already(TEA) Party!

The fiscal deficit is a grave concern. But the worst pathology threatening the United States with terminal decline is the responsibility deficit - a “not me” syndrome that infects too much of American society right now. Nowhere is this deficit more on display than in the current White House occupant. We can only hope that 2012 will bring us a candidate who, like Reagan, wants to lead with more than just words. Until then, the bottom-up responsibility movement called - famously or infamously - the Tea Party is America’s best hope.

Good article, actually. The first paragraph got my dander up, but I'm glad I went to the link.

yet we are winning pretty much every election, including holding off the 30 million dollar attack in Wisconsin this week. It is an all out 24/7 war with these leftist freaks, but we are holding our ground pretty well.

Dear DC Establishment,

The Tea Party did not come to Washington to compromise with you. We came to fight you. Defend yourselves.

Absolutely it does. We are the people, and the buck always stops with us.
We elected these dandies and they work for us, they represent us, and we will have to face the consequences of our choices.

I hope they keep up the BS.

Obama could begin to reduce the deficit by bringing the troops home from Afghanistan.
He promised that was going to happen in July, but he has only escalated things while tying our troops hands.

The people are sick of the price and they are sick of Obamas lies.

Axelrod has a long record of working for corrupt and freakish pols: John Edwards, Eliot Spitzer, Rod Blogovich.
He lies with absolute ease and specializes in dressing up far left extremists to naive independents. He is the embodiment of sleaze.
