Please read my post 31 for clarification.

I never bash Palin, but many Palin supporters go out of their way to not only bash Perry, but even make things up, just to attack him. THAT is what is “not nice”.

Palin will endorse Perry.

So it’s OK for Palin supporters to spam Perry threads with unwarranted and even untrue attacks on Perry, but making a tongue-and-cheek joke about Palin supporters is a capital offense. Talk about hypocrisy!

The so-called "bashing" by the Tea Party points out unacceptable flaws in Rick Perry's stand on the issues and in his character.

The Perry supporters have been downright ugly. Their name calling and personal attacks are the tactics of The Left.

I'm stunned Ron Paul didn't win this. I mean, straw polls are the only thing Ron Paul actually does well in. Did his bus loads of college kid supporters get high and fall asleep on tummies full of ho-ho's?

They were both just teasing their supporters and weren’t/aren’t serious about running.

As I said, she is better looking and smarter, turning her popularity into $$$, which makes her smart and I don’t begrudge her. What I do object to, is that he is keeping up the tease even now. For a while, OK, but it’s time for her to release her supporters.

My Mama told me never to fall for a man with a smooth tongue and a pretty face...

When I found out Perry went to the Bilderberger conference in 2007.... that pretty much did it for me. :(

This is an open forum. Why do you consider valid objections "spam" or why do you consider them unwarranted?

If the objections are untrue, you are allowed to point out why they are untrue, but please don't try to shut us up with personal attacks.

Rick Perry supporters, throughout this forum, have resorted to mostly name-calling and personal denegration.

The Rick Perry supporters have been ugly like the left, especially with their name-calling on Ron Paul and Sarah Palin.

Rick Perry does not represent the values of the Tea Party.

She is doing what Fred Thompson did back in 2008, and I think people “waiting for and worshipping” Fred were part of the reason that we ended up with McCain, and subsequently Obama.

Care to offer an actual explanation for this, beyond "I think"?

Perry and Cain both beat Romney. That’s good news for two reasons :-)

I said “I think” because that is my opinion, based on events.

Unlike many, who make untrue statements, opinions about Perry, claiming to be facts.

No it's not...and if she did endorse anyone, it absolutely should not be Rick Perry, especially when his supporters have been bashing Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Michele Bachman and anyone else associated with the Tea Party with personal attacks.

A real Tea Party candidate *can* and will win the nomination and presidency.

Yeah, we all knew that, "I think," means it's your opinion -- and you are entitled to it. But a little bit of elaboration on your opinion beyond, "Just because," would strengthen your position.

For example, did people waiting for Thompson somehow keep someone else from winning? If so, how?

Can you provide examples of an opinion about Perry that someone said was a fact?

I didn't say you insulted Palin, I said you insulted her supporters. And you STILL insult them with your response here.

Hint - Palin, if she does not run, will be a kingmaker. And her supporters will swing the balance in the primary as they change sides. I would AGAIN suggest you knock off the insults against them.

Can you provide examples of an opinion about Perry that someone said was a fact?

“Perry is a RINO”

“Perry is for Sharia”

“Perry is for amnesty”

“Perry is a ‘big government’ elitist”

“Perry is no better than Obama”

Just to name a few...

There’s six of us.Most folks here have heard of Palin and know the crap that was thrown out about her.She could win this state easy . Perry is not so well known, don’t know much about him myself, but I know one thing ,if it’s true that he’s in favor of amnesty he’ll be a hard sell here. That would go for Palin or anybody else.

I think if Perry wins the nomination, I’m going to have to stay off of FR, if I have any hope of being able to support him. I truly dislike his supporters.
