President Obama kicked off his Midwestern bus tour on Monday blasting his would-be opponents in a campaign-style event in Minnesota.
While White House officials have repeatedly insisted that Obama's trip is official business — a claim disputed by Republicans — the president clearly had politics on his mind, taking a thinly veiled shot at Mitt Romney and bringing up last week's Republican debate in Iowa.
Making his first stop in Minnesota, Obama brought up Romney's one-time endorsement of a individual health insurance mandate, and he seized on Republican presidential candidates saying last week that they would not accept a deal that included $10 in spending cuts for every $1 in increased revenues.
"None of them," Obama said. "None of them would take it. Think about that. I mean, that's just not common sense."
The president, wearing no tie and with his shirt sleeves rolled up, did not face much criticism from a crowd that appeared to be supportive of his efforts.

He is willfully violating the law by using government money for campaign purposes. However, who will hold him accountable? Certainly not Attorney General Holder.

EVERY "crowd" this guy has ever had are either Leftwing Loonies, or Union jackasses, or mush-headed youths and minorities....the crowds are hand-picked, bussed in (in every event), and size exagerated by the State-Run-Media.
He can't talk about the record of Democrat spending over the last 2 years, which has driven the economy into the ditch, and can only talk about OTHERS.
A $10 spending cut for $1 in increase in taxes makes no sense at all. First, the tax increase is today and in real dollars, and it is really just a cut in a future growth. The GOP knows it and needs to repeat it over and over. If we legitimately were talking about lowering spending to $10 below today’s spending and keeping it at that level for the 10 year budget projections, then maybe we can talk.
If he did this, he is VIOLATING THE LAW. His campaign should be financing this. Gad, the Sun King.
I am afraid of Rick Perry. God Help us all. If we continue to nominate RINOs than we really have no one to blame but ourselves. It is too late once they are locked in. Do we have to hold our noses AGAIN? That is getting old. Michele just best get the nomination....Palin would be even better. Writing in Palin would be reasonable to me and many others. RINO’S MUST GO!!!!!

Rick Perry is not a RINO.....he is a Texas Christian Conservative.....I live in Texas and I have voted for him every time he is on the ballot.....I am like him “FED UP” with the way things are done in Washington.......what’s the alternative.....vote for the Communist Obama???????

Absolutely not. Voting for Sarah for third party is perfect for me. They can do it in Alaska, we can do it nation wide. The days of saying that a third party can’t win is over. Perry is HORRIBLE on immigration and forcing little girls to have vaccines. NO SALE FOR ME. Making anyone do anything is NOT conservative.
Oh brother. You just signed up today and you are telling me about who is conservative......you need some time under your belt before you even reply to anything. Once you are here awhile, you will see that Perry is a RINO around here.
