Paul is a libertarian who uses the Constitution when it suits him.

Being a Conservative and a Libertarian are not the same thing.

Moreover, Paul has been a part of the Washington Political Elite for years. He’s as responsible as one else in that club for Americas moral, economic and political challenges. What we need is for people like him to go away so new non ideological people can recenter America.

Paul is an old man who couldn’t sell his soap nationally. His time never came for a reason.

Ron Paul is fine if Iran has nukes.

Did he let Rand play with matches as a child?
Did he let Rand play with a loaded pistol as an infant?

Certain combinations are dangersous.....islamists and nukes are one of them.

Logic n’ Reason, right? Really?

“ Why does fox permit old kraut-hammer on their network at all?”

Short answer: To make money. Duh.

Slightly longer answer: To make money by displaying staged controversy in which the RINOs and liberals are quickly proven mistaken.

Opinion: Fox (and all the other networks) would do the nation some good if they would allow more opposing ideas to publicly contend.

GOP debate: Ron Paul makes case for heroin legalization. Maybe he's already using it.

I don't want to see Romney get the nomination and I am not overly enthusiastic about Perry.

But it pains me to see people posting one-sided hit pieces on Republican candidates. Even Romney would be ten thousand times better than Obama and that is faint praise.

The press is going to take the cheap shots and the candidates will have to answer them. I am not interested in all the lame conspiracy theories about republican candidates made up by losers living in their mom's basement. I don't know why some people feel compelled to post them.

Yeah, the prevailing football/TV game mentality thing—all these generations of nothing people from the hippy/druggy ‘60s, etc.

Ya cannot have an America w/o Americans...

OK I am going out on a limb here

Romney will never be President of the US

Call it a gut thing, call it religious discimination that many wont admit but will affect their voting

Call it he comes across as a wooden fake stiff, ala Al Gore, even if better looking, and this is a time people need genuine passion about saving this nation

Call if all of the above

The MEdia has chosen Mitt for us as it chose John McCain - the liberal elites know we will never have a US president named “Mitt”

My prediction

Neither will Michelle Bachmann.

I don't think the list stops there.

I agree. Same with Juan Williams, and several others.

We're in agreement. FOX advertisers are lost on me. I could care less what FOX presents on their network.

I didn’t think the others warranted mention.

I agree. But unless and until she says she’s in, I’m not going to pay it any mind.

Racist???? Who are you? Al SHarpton? Ron Paul may be a bit of a loon but I don't see any evidence of racism here.

Paul also wrote that although "we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers."

That's just the plain and simple truth! Even Jesse Jackson has said as much!

I hate to see Paul get attacked the way he does because alot of what he says makes sense...alot more is dangerous nonsense. I just wish he’d have the dignity and discipline to bow out and retire.

Maybe I don't know enough about Perry yet but it strikes me that he will never be President either because:

1. He comes across as a little too slick similar to John Edwards.
2. It is not clear at all that he can win a general election.

Ron Paul is NOT being ignored.
Look at his polls and his primary/straw poll numbers.

He’s getting FAR more press coverage and face time than is proportional to his electoral popularity. Good for him, because he’s got a lot of good ideas and he has both the brains and balls to stand up on stage and defend his positions. But, HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT.

I like Ron Paul, but I’m not sure I want him as my president.

There is some agreement that our current slate of candidates leaves room for improvement. Reagan delayed his announcement until around December 1979, if memory serves me well today. Let’s keep the door open.
