FULL TITLE: George Stephanopoulos Scolds Companies Who Relocate Overseas Because of High Taxes: 'Unpatriotic'
According to Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos, companies that go overseas as a result of high taxes in America are "unpatriotic."
The ABC host, who has repeatedly lobbied for higher taxes throughout his journalistic career, endorsed Warren Buffett's call for the rich to pay a higher percentage in taxes.
Talking to Donald Trump, Stephanopoulos cajoled, "Warren Buffett made another splash, saying it's not right, he a billionaire, pays 17 percent in taxes when his secretaries and receptionists pay more. Isn't he right about that?"

And... Liberals were expecting WHAT result when increasing taxes on business...????? What spoiled and stupid children!!!!
How many ways do they want to have it?
But G.E. Brings good things to Life, especially half dead present-initial campaigns....
Wonder how Chrissy Mathews is goign to deal with this?
Another sip from the bottle no doubt....
you mean like jobs czar, Jeffrey Immelts company, GE moving it’s xray unit to china? like that kind of overseas?
Who is John Galt?
"Is this the same George Stephanopoulos
who enabled fraud before the American public?"
Patriotism will always be second fiddle as long as the goal is to make a profit and the stockholders happy.
they also closed down their incandescent bulb plants in the USA (after lobbying Congress for their ban) and opened the new CFL bulb plants in China
I wonder if georgie boy kicks in any extra bucks on his income taxes.
So is G.E. now unpatriotic? Will “Jeffy I-melt” have to resign his position given to him by the chosen one?
Hearing this line more and more these days. We need a nice succinct come back line.
Politicians calling for higher taxes on American businesses "unpatriotic."
Politicians calling for higher taxes on American businesses are stealing the wealth that should belong to the people.
Politicians calling for higher taxes on American businesses responsible for driving wealth out of the country.
Politicians calling for higher taxes on American businesses are ... None of those really do it, but we need a come back for this "unpatriotic" BS.
A government that taxes business and people until they leave the country in self defense is unpatriotic.
George Stephanopoulos is one of Lenin's
"useful idiots" who do not understand.
Didn’t these same Libtards also create tax-incentive packages for companies to ‘invest’ in foreign countries? Dell Computers (Austin, TX), among others, was PAID to move jobs to Taiwan and India. These moves were sponsored by both Libtards and RINOS.
What does George know? He never met a payroll in his life.
so it is unpatriotic to ignore the interests of your stockholders????
Stephy, the citizens of the nation are the govenment’s “stockholders”. With folks like you, no wonder our federal government is so utterly ‘effed up!!!
What has this asshole done that would make his scolding a concern?
Should politicians that pass laws that drive businesses overseas also be considered unpatriotic?
Using that logic, Georgie Porgie, anyone who buys a campaign bus from, say, Canada, instead of from a US company is unpatriotic, too, no?
staph is a fag.
Hey george, you moron; what about those Canadian built buses der Fuehrer is campaigning from?
Warren could, if he wished, choose to not pay exhorbitant sums to his accountants to save every tax penny possible, and use the savings to pay at a much higher rate.
Warren could, if he chose to, simply write a check to donate to the "debt reduction fund" to assuage his outraged conscience.
You can bet that Warren would still hire an army of lobbyists to fight for every loophole possible to benefit him, while discomfitting his competitors, in any new "tax the rich" bills written.
And, finally, you can bet that Warren would offset any increases in his tax burden (decreases in his bottom line) by passing them on to his paying customers.
You can also safely bet that Georgie knows this very well, but would never "report" it.
George Stephanopoulos worked in the Clinton White House, which makes him unpatriotic.
This could be a pretext to nationalize some more companies “to save American jobs”.
companies USED to need governments to provide a good and stable environment.
now its is governments that need companies to proved a good and stable environment.
democrats have forgotten that.
“democrats have forgotten that.”
I have arrived to the conclusion that many Democrats have NOT forgotten that, but are in fact causing an unstable environment to destabilize companies and thus the economy. They envision rebuilding a socialist utopia on top the rubble of a failed country. As Rick Perry might say, it is treason.
