Is President Barack Obama on the verge of being attacked by a bunny wabbit?
All the signs suggest that Obama is in immediate danger of a rabbit attack. It would ruin what's left of his presidency. And it would horrify Democrats by ushering in, say, a President Bachmann.
It might happen while he's on that ridiculous vacation of his. Obama is chilling at some exclusive multimillion-dollar estate on Martha's Vineyard, even as thousands more Americans hit the unemployment lines, and as Republicans like Michele Bachmann make wild-eyed, crazed claims about bringing back $2 per gallon gas.
"I think it's a little too early yet for the president to be attacked by a rabbit," cautioned a veteran Chicago Democrat wise in the ways of Obama. "But it's close. Real close."
Anyone who thinks Obama is safe from a rabbit attack has forgotten what happened to President Jimmy Carter In 1979. Carter was attacked by a swimming rabbit, and the subsequent "Killer Rabbit" stories helped destroy his presidency. It led to the election of Republican Ronald Reagan in a landslide and an unprecedented economic revival.
There are eerie similarities.

If Obama could, he would dissolve the Congress and rule in perpetuity.
With Biden providing a Greek Chorus of "Summer of Recovery".
Those aren't failures - they're features.
Nah, but Obama might choke on a $198.00 lobster dinner from some upscale restaurant...
Or drop a twenty dollar ice cream cone on a perfect beach.
Dropped on a beach America's kids will never see... not even in their dreams in this economy.
Obama's having fun with his people - the liberal elite's of the Vineyard... how nice.
Are you kidding? The 6 year old would tear up lil’ barry and send him crying to Moochelle! Maybe an evil scary Tea-Partier that gets too close to barry(within 6ft) and waves an (gasp) American Flag in his face! LOL...
“I think a little girl will try to attack him when he takes her bike by accident. Headline: “Obama fends off attack by 6 year old girl after taking her bike”
>What’s starting to scare me is that, at some point, Obozo is going to wake up to the reality that people don’t like him and his socialist ideas. At that point, he may start using the powers of Executive Order to institute things that couldn’t pass Congress. He’s already started this by using regulatory agencies to institute laws that impact the economy (e.g., use the EPA since cap-and-trade looks DOA).<
A good point you made there.
As you said he is already doing this. By fiat he gave amnesty to illegals on a “case by case” basis - and messed with more regulations while on vacation.
But being the total narcissist that he is when he gets more public scrutiny, heckling and is called out on the campaign trail with his failed policies and socialist nonsense he will get more angry.
All he will be able to do is what all dictators do, lash out and make us pay through his mighty pen and trashing of our constitution. It will become a self perpetuating downward spiral.
The more he is jeered and less adored the more he lashes out. The more he lashes out the more he sets himself up for negative confrontations. He will unravel during this election cycle because now he is meeting people again up close and personal. (not that he ever really stopped campaigning) but he was more removed from people.
It will be the first time in his life that he takes a public stage and is not viewed as some kind of god. Even the media will no longer be able to shield him. All they will do is question why people are being so “disrespectful” “mean” and that they don’t appreciate him ..
I agree. Carter was inept, but wasn’t out to destroy the country he loved by purposeful mismanagement. I believe he was his own man. O is evil, and is in office to bring us down. He is on the side of those who lead him.
>I dont want to completely defend Obama, but is he really as bad as President Carter. Thankfully I was not alive during that era. However, there was gas lines, high interest rates, Iran hostage crisis, high unemployment, among other embarassments. President Obama doesnt lack deficiencies, but it seems like it was unnecessarily painful to live during the Carter years.<
I remember it. The difference between Carter and Obama is simply this. Almost all of Carters agenda was felt directly at the time - his policy was instant failure and Americans had the displeasure of it in real time.
Obama has set much of his agenda in the future. It will be more painful to be sure, but Americans will be blaming someone else for it because it was set on a timer. Like Obamacare (just one example) will not be fully implemented for many years.
he is much worse than carter when you think of the overall effects of his failed policy and degeneration of the American way of life. It is just on hold for a while.
we should be thankful that it wasn't a live Wagu beef bull.
I hope you are right!
The next election is a little over a year away. The next President can undo what this one has done with a new set of executive orders. The saving grace in this is that government moves so slowly. Had he done this day one of his administration the damage would have been far worse.
>Dont now if it has been posted here but yesterday Neal Boortz played an incredible audio of Carter/Obama - He was repeating Carters speeches almost word for word!!! I hope to see it used in someones campaign....<
do you have a link of that???
In a way I feel sorry for Carter. How would like to be compared to Obama?
>>Even the media will no longer be able to shield him.<<
>I hope you are right!<
It is already starting. Once just ONE liberal MSM outlet starts they will all go and follow. They fight over that liberal crowd for ratings. They can ignore Fox because it isn’t in their demographics, but they can’t ignore each other.
Get the popcorn my FRiend when it starts getting good, it will be a sight to behold.
We just had a government beaurocrat arrest a little girl for nursing a woodpecker back to health. Pretty close.
You mean like declaring amnesty for illegal aliens?
He's worse. Far worse. Carter did some stupid things, but this guy is diabolically adept at doing the worst thing for AMerica, evry time. Moreover, he seems to see no limit to his power, and is driven by what appears to be hatred of Caucasians and Western Civilization. His contempt for protocol and his incessant vacationing make Carter look like Bob Cratchett, as far as work goes, and his living the high life--conspicuously--on the dime of an America with record numbers of unemployed (without cooking the books).
Even Carter wasn't that classless.
At best Obama is an embarassment to the United States of America, at worst, an enemy.
And I fear, when his whole 'messianic' trip falls glaringly flat on its face, I think things will get really ugly.
“It’s time to throw the holy grenade.”
I think the rabbit had little to do with Reagan beating Carter. Stagflation had more to do with it, and the Panama Canal, and Iran, and appeasing the Russians (SALT II)followed by Afghanistan. And then there was the famous “malaise speech”:
The picture is Obama. The author is talking about Carter. Carter was in a canoe, I believe.
HA! That went well over my head. Good line!
“At best Obama is an embarassment to the United States of America, at worst, an enemy.
And I fear, when his whole ‘messianic’ trip falls glaringly flat on its face, I think things will get really ugly.”
You know it’s the worst case and you don’t fear, you KNOW things will get really ugly.
“Thats not a canoe like the writer claims; its a John boat.”
They don’t know a rifle from a shotgun or a boat from a ship, how would they know a canoe from a John boat?
I saw a very large yacht in Lauderdale that had many “oars” but I didn’t see anyone “paddling”. :^}
That was my unstated point...
I guess he got it from Laura Ingram...
This should be posted prominently here on FR (if it has not been already) - do you agree? I don’t know all of the “rules” - is it ok to post a link from the Blaze?
You didn't have the room key. Akin to 'What happens in 'Vegas stays in 'Vegas."
I survived the Carter administration. Obama is worse.
Speaking of the malaise speech - have you seen the remix version?
See link in my post above - its amazing!!
Hell. I wasn’t allowed near them, with my small “dingy”.
Some things should never be admitted to online...
I know, I’m just agreeing with you.
This bill allows law enforcement officials to track the sales of multiple guns, end unlicensed gun purchases, formally define gun trafficking, and ease evidentiary requirements to revoke gun licenses.
If Bamster has a “killer rabbit” moment, how could we tell?
There’s pics of him hanging curtains, looking like a homo on a girly bike, bowing to Saudis, and even going EEEEEKKKK!!! like a wimp at a karate demo.
The media would still worship at his feet if he showed up in the press center wearing a tutu!
Gas Lines! Had to sit in those damn lines in the middle of a Texas summer. Man I hated those gas lines!
Looks like he wallop’s the clown
For me this was pretty much it.
Oh ... you ... you ... guys!
“Thats a fair question and I think a good one. I think Obama is worse due to the long term consequences of Obamacare. Maybe you should start a thread with that question?”
I’ve seen a couple of threads on this topic, ever since he was elected. My opinion is that Pres. Obama has the potential to be worse, but hasn’t yet done anything as bad as turning a strong ally like Iran into an Islamic terrorist state.
Economically, they’re similar, but Obama has definitely been worse in actively wrecking the economy.
In character, I think President Obama is far worse. I actually think President Carter was well meaning, but in error about what works. I’m not sure Pres. Obama is even well meaning, and he is even more wrong about what works economically.
...Better yet, a Nantucket sleighride...
When my son and daughter-in-law were staying with us, they had a rabbit that somehow always managed to escape it's cage. That thing was a devil! It would chase you and bite your feet. Even our German Shepard would jump up on the highest thing it could find to get away from it.
