The storm forecast track, if it holds, is an absolute nightmare scenario for the Jersey Shore - running the entire length of the coast. And most of the state will encounter gusts over hurricane force, which means massive power outages and roads blocked by downed trees.

I work in PA very close to Trenton, and I am planning to not be able to work on Monday due to power outages - we have a generator for our servers but not for our desktops.

Isn’t the east side of the storm the ‘windy’ side? If so, wouldn’t a track just inland up the coast present the most devastating scenario? East winds dragging the ocean onshore?
