Team Palin says Rove may be a bit off
Politico ^ | 8-22-11 | Maggie Haberman

Posted on 08/22/2011 9:16:28 PM PDT by STARWISE

Add Karl Rove to the list of people Sarah Palin's camp is denouncing.

POLITICO's Juana Summers flags this statement from the Sarah PAC website, which - without naming him - takes an unmistakable swipe at the former White House adviser to George W. Bush:

Three years ago DC pundits predicted with glee the demise of Sarah Palin's political career. This past weekend their tune changed, citing false information that she has made a decision and set a date regarding a future campaign.

Any professional pundit claiming to have "inside information" regarding Governor Palin's personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public. These are the same tired establishment political games that fuel the 24 hour news cycle and that all American's will hopefully reject in 2012, and this is more of the "politics-as-usual" that Sarah Palin has fought against throughout her career.

PS - Kudos to CNN for setting the record straight, and including Governor Palin's own words.

Rove had said on Fox News last weekend that he believed Palin was running, based in part on her schedule in Iowa (as best as I can tell she only has the one, large-scale event in Des Moines scheduled, for Sept. 3).

Peter Hamby of CNN noted earlier that there is not exactly a river of trust between Palin and Rove, but the public pushback was a bit of a surprise.

Kudos to CNN

Three words I thought I'd never see here on FR!

What's next? Mitt's da bomb. :-)

Yep, Rove gave a specific reason why he thought she was running while Levin gave no reason at all when he said he thought she was running. Looks like Levin made Team Sarah happy.

.
No, just that she is not going to announce on 9-3-11.

Why would she drive me crazy?

I pointed out that the article hints that she's not running, and you showed yourself to be a member of the small but vocal 'idiot' wing of Sarah's following who regularly insults people who are not interested or have little patience in the waiting games she's playing. Predictable.

Does Politico have their own building or do they just work out of the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters?

Karl ‘Porky Pig Face’ Rove is just worried that he won’t be invited to the cocktail parties in DC after Sarah is elected.

He already knows that Perry won't be inviting him to his inauguration parties or the WH for a beer summit, either.

He's just pissing people off lately, isn't he?

There’s no BS nor tease.

Her announcement strategy is based on her limited finances. If she announces too soon she’ll go bust like Bachmann and Pawlenty have.

Rove has been a bit “off” since the 2010 election. Not sure that he can or will regain our respect.

Pollutico works out of the Democratic National Committee’s toilet.

Yup, that's right. She may very well announce her run on that day, but Palin made sure Rove does not get any kudos. He is just as much on the dark as the rest of the DC idiots. Rove spent allot of time and money making sure O'Donnell lost in the Mid Terms and he will do the same to try and stop Palin and Perry from being nominated. Rove wants Romney because the Bush's want Romney.

This is 1980 all over again with Reagan winning the nomination and the DC pundits GOP elites hating his winning. They were forced to nominate him so they did and threw Bush in as VP which began the RINO era.

Well, we knew this was a setup and we were right. My bet is Wasilla. It’s Sarah through and through. When she announces, she’s gonna be at home. And I don’t think she is gonna disappoint us on the third either.

He’s real pouty and vengeful, since his true colors and character were laid bare naked for conservatives to discover.

Hmmm, so those of us who support Sarah are members of “the small but vocal ‘idiot’ wing of Sarah’s following who regularly insult people who are not interested...”

You said:

“Yeah, but she’s keeping everyone in the dark, including the poor Freepers who work very hard every day to build up for her supposed campaign.”

and...

“This is going to be a tough few weeks for her water carriers.”

Yep, nothing insulting here...just pure, unadulterated objectivity.

And you call us idiots? Sheesh.
