I was 3 miles from the Northridge Quake epicenter and right on top of the epicenter for the Whittier Narrows quake — this was nothing...

The Appalachians are the oldest mountains on Earth. I can guess that the plate tectonics are still active pushing them eastward. There has to be a point where the forces overwhelm the static forces and something’s gotta give eventually..................

I agree. 10th floor of an old building. I doubt it is very earthquake resistant. I still feel like everything is moving.
