Unlike Louisiana during Katrina, the east coast has a raft of competent governors who are in charge ... one of their biggest headaches will be obama’s idiot bureaucrats trying to tell them what to do, and obama looking for photo ops as campaign ads
So, he is boosting his ratings among his base and the other drones who mindlessly vote donk,after having ignored hundreds of thousands/millions of formerly moderate independents who voted for him once, but who will now either not vote or revert back to center right.
BTW, the other flooded areas of the US also contain minorities, unionistas and assorted other liberal voters who have to live in the midst of devastation, some of it exacerbated by the government, while being ignored.
Great strategy and demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of demographics in this country, not to mention their vaunted *optics*.
