Perry Blasts Obama, Notes Own Job-Creating Record

DES MOINES, Iowa — Texas Gov. Rick Perry warned during an appearance in Iowa that President Obama has driven the nation's economy into a ditch, arguing that his own record as governor qualifies him to lead the way out.

"Instead of eliminating our economic crisis, he worsened it," said Perry. "Instead of addressing the debt, he exploded it." Perry told nearly 400 activists that he's created 1 million jobs while governor of Texas, all during a stretch where the nation was losing 2.5 million jobs.

Perry said he'll take his record of cutting taxes and regulation to Washington and he said the Texas rebound proves that those efforts work.

Perry was joined at a county GOP picnic by fellow candidates, Reps. Ron Paul of Texas and Thaddeus McCotter of Michigan, but Perry was getting the bulk of the attention.

Perry singled out recent comments by former Iowa governor and current Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack's that food stamps were helping to bolster the economy by getting buying power into people's hands.

"Food stamps are not a solution, they are a symbol of the problem," said Perry. "Today's leaders see it differently."

Perry sought to drive the problem home, noting that Iowa has suffered as well under the Obama administration. "Today, one in eight Iowans is on food stamps," said Perry. "That is a testament to the widespread misery created by this administration." Perry has moved near the top of most polls only a couple of weeks after announcing his decision to run for the Republican nomination. He was making his second visit to Iowa, where precinct caucuses traditionally launch the nominating season, and he has made it clear he will compete for those caucuses ...

Yup, Gardasil, Mexico highway, blah, blah, blah,......

The electorate could care less and their opinion on the matter will make as much difference on the election as the Heavens Gate cult did on ending the Earth of all evil.

Why is it, you think, that people join those groups? You left out one other group, and that is called Bohemian Grove. Research it. Why would politicians of all stripes want to join these groups? Open your eyes, We are being sold out by these politicians. We have an ineligible fraud in the white house that nobody in either political party will investigate. This is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on this Republic.

That's funny!

By the way, I'm sitting on a gas well drilling project on the West Virginia Pan Handle. PA’s about 30 miles away. 2 weeks ago, I was in Waynesburg of a similar well. Greetings from the local group!

We do have a fraud in the White House, that much we do agree on. But to make these outlandish conspiratorial accusations, is way over the top.

Go see a good therapist. You are in need of help. Under the right leadership, (Like Perry’s) we can clean this mess up and it will clean itself up if it is left alone to work itself out.

And stop attacking a great patriot and dedicated American like Rick Perry. He is far from what ails us.

They are not outlandish. Is or was Perry ever for a North American Union? This country is being destroyed by illegals has or is Perry for letting the illegals into this country? I will show you the proof of what I am talking about and you will see.

Obviously you are basing your rigid position on complete ignorance. Perry is not at all for allowing Illegals into the country. That myth has been repeatedly exposed on this forum. Perry believes that it is the Federal Government's responsibility to stop the flow if Illegals into the country and he has clearly said so. Numerous times.

Too much swirling around on the net about the New World Order is conspiracy myth. How are we to determine what is false and what is true? Why worry about it when there are those who know how to work against it if necessary. And, if anything is going to hurt our nation and our freedom, we need a strong leader who will keep our nation safe. I would rather have someone who is a member of the CFR; to keep an eye on it; and to work to keep it doing good for America. We don’t want someone who has no clue about what it is doing.

Has Zer0 visited the Bohemian Grove? I can imagine him trying to relate to the membership ritual. Richard Nixon once referred to the Grove as, “the most faggy goddamned thing you could ever imagine.” Zer0 would be right at home in the Bohemian Grove.

Rick Perry’s remarks to the Border Summit on Aug, 21st 2001:

…Legislation authored by border legislators Pat Haggerty and Eddie Lucio establishes an important study that will look at the feasibility of bi-national health insurance. This study recognizes that the Mexican and U.S. sides of the border compose one region, and we must address health care problems throughout that region. That’s why I am also excited that Texas Secretary of State Henry Cuellar is working on an initiative that could extend the benefits of telemedicine to individuals living on the Mexican side of the border….

Did Perry ever mutter these words?

"Everyone he's [Zer0] appointed is pro-abortion and this President is all for "aborting" a baby after it's born."

Exactly. When in the Illinois Senate, Zer0 opposed a bill that would have required abortionists who perform late-term labor induced abortions to provide life saving efforts if this procedure caused a child to be born alive. The procedure, called induced labor abortion, inserts a medication into the mom's birth canal that dilates the cervix, and the intent is for the baby be delivered prematurely. They're fully formed, but very small. So when the cervix opens, essentially, the baby falls out of the uterus, and it is anticipated that the baby will die during the birth process or soon afterwords. But sometimes these babies live for a time. I have read that up to 20% of these babies are alive after this procedure. That Zer0 wanted these living human beings to die from lack of care is how sick the poison that infects the Obama Regime.

It is good that candidates like Rick Perry is a staunch pro-life Christian who will lead America out of the stench of Abortion.

I sure hope Perry said that. If they’ve got “telemedicine” on their side of the border, maybe they’ll stay there.

If Governor Perry did say those words, good! With some telemedicine in Mexico, maybe they will stay in Mexico and not come north for our medical care.

Here are some hard facts about the Bilderberg Group. The group (named after the Dutch hotel where they first met) was founded in 1954. Started by Denis Healey, Joseph Retinger, David Rockefeller and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, they aim to bring together financiers, industrialists, politicians and opinion formers to discuss problems facing the western world. There are no “members” of the Bilderberg Group, only attendees.

Every year they meet, away from the intrusive eyes of the press. The confidentiality enables people to speak honestly without fear of repercussions. Attendance is only by invitation of the steering committee. They network, eat, drink, play golf and return home. At each meeting, a broad cross-section of leading citizens are assembled for nearly three days of informal and off-the-record discussion about topics of current concern especially in the fields of foreign affairs and the international economy.

It is a small, flexible international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced. Bilderberg’s only activity is its annual Conference. At the meetings, no resolutions are proposed, no votes taken, and no policy statements issued. Since 1954, fifty-nine conferences have been held. After each meeting, the names of the participants as well as the agenda are made public and available to the press.

Invitations to Bilderberg conferences are extended by the Chairman following consultation with the Steering Committee members. Participants are chosen for their experience, their knowledge, their standing and their contribution to the selected agenda. There usually are about 120 participants of whom about two-thirds come from Europe and the balance from North America. About one-third is from government and politics, and two-thirds from finance, industry, labor, education and communications. Participants attend Bilderberg in a private and not an official capacity.

The following are a few of the prominent persons attending one or more Bilderberg meetings over the years; the list is intended to illustrate the varied positions, background, and political views of those who have participated (only USA participants are listed):
Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald Ford, John Bolton, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Timothy Geithner, Paul Volcker, Terry McAuliffe, Ben Bernanke, David Rockefeller, Rupert Murdoch, Henry Kissinger, Donald Rumsfield, ABC anchor Peter Jennings, William F. Buckley, George Stephanopoulos, Mort Zuckerman, Thomas Friedman, George Soros, Senators Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Diane Feinstein, Tom Daschle, Chuck Hagel, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, John Corzine, and Governors Mark Sanford (SC), Mark Warner (VA), George Pataki (NY), Christine Todd Whitman (NJ) and Kathleen Sebelius (KS).

It’s common for many CEO’s of large corporations to be present at the meetings. For example, the CEO’s of Amazon, Alcoa, Coca Cola, Fannie Mae, Facebook, Ford, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Pepsico, Time Inc. and the Washington Post have all attended Bildergerg meetings. Even Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher (G.B.) attended a Bilderberg conference.

Some say that they secretly control the world’s governments; they seek the world’s destruction so it can be rebuilt more perfectly. They have long infiltrated nearly all aspects of American society, business and government and they are bent on establishing a New World Order. The appeal of this theory is its utter vagueness and total flexibility based on location and government. Basically, the conspiritists believe that anyone in power is probably doing something super secretive and deadly right now that’s designed to increase the suffering of the masses and bring more wealth and power to the elite. It goes without saying that there’s no proof of any of this, but then, that’s the appeal of conspiracy theories.

And what about Perry’s attendance violating the Logan Act? For those not versed on such matters: “The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953 [1948]) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.” It is ludicrous to accuse Perry of “negotiating” with “other nations” just as it would be to accuse the other participants, like Bill Clinton, Diane Feinstein, Chris Dodd, or Bill Gates. They attended a conference with other influential people, that’s the extent of it. Find something else to complain about.

No one is saying that the movers and shakers who have attended the conferences don’t have an impact on our world, just look at the people who attend – they are among the most influential and powerful individuals in every category – of course they have an impact. But these people will have influence on our lives because of who they are and the power they hold, not because of any blood oath to the Bilderbergers. Frankly, the United Nations (UN) is probably a bigger threat to our republic than the Bilderberg group.

Only in science fiction (and conspiracy theories) can someone like Rick Perry be turned into a mind-numbed robot following the Bilderberg’s nefarious instructions to take over the world … instructions that they somehow implanted in less than three days … four years ago … right.
