Texas Gov. Rick Perry may be surging in polls of Republican primary voters, but his party's Insiders aren't convinced he'd be the best general election candidate. More than two-thirds of Republican Insiders say Mitt Romney has a better chance than Perry of defeating President Obama in 2012, according to this week's National Journal Political Insiders Poll.

Types that share the philosophy of douchebags like Karl Rove. They realize that their best days are behind them, which is why (even if they don't admit it) they hate the Tea Party and the shifting sands caused by the "uprising."
Incidentally Rove backed RINO Kay Hutchison over Perry for governor. So when we see him attacking Perry, it's because he realizes that under a Perry admin, his attempted visits to the Whitehouse will likely end like this:
