No, it’s Peter Ustinov. Hilarious movie!

yup for the AR, m855 for barrier penetration and xm 193 for softer target shooting.

A converted Saiga in 7.62x39 (gun and parts ~$500.00) is one of the most time-proven and effective means of self-defense. They also make excellent hunting rifles. If you install a bullet-guide (very easy to do), you can use surplus AK mags (that is, if you live in 2nd Amendment respecting state) of which, the supply is abundant and cheap. Added bonus,
7.62x39 ammo is about 30% percent cheaper than .556 ammo.

As for the topic in the article, this is one of the many scenarios that people should think about and prepare for. I think the chances of this are low and I would be more concerned about the general criminality associated with economic hard times than a bunch of loud mouth bigots.

It would be named “The 8 Hour War”.

Bottom lin: It is a bad idea to attack a nation of snipers.

"At that point we may as well give up on our Constitution because that would be in violation of that document."

The Constitution has already been "given up on". How else can you explain the total disregard of the Article II requirement that the POTUS be a natural born Citizen?

“Californian will go down without much of a fight.Texas is a completely different matter.”

Um... at least California WON its turning point battle against Mexico.

Guess you’re referring to that spectacular victory at the Alam—

Oh, wait. Never mind.
