From the enclosed article, the management at your Four Points Sheraton property in Baltimore, Maryland not only breached this clearly stated and important policy statement, your representatives may have violated various state and federal laws and have certainly acted in an indecent manner by supporting the efforts of B4U-ACT to normalize, if not legalize, pedophilia in the United States. By providing meeting space and resources, the hotel management has effectively given the imprimatur of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. to this organization, much as they would have if the hotel would have booked, say, a conference promoting the benefits of a return to slavery. Based on the published goals of B4U-ACT, the comparison is valid.
I suggest that you either remove or at minimum discipline the management at Four Points Sheraton in Baltimore for their violation of Starwood’s Human Rights Policy Statement, or remove the Protection of the Rights of Children portion of the statement to avoid sending a conflicting message to your employees.

You could say that this “psychological group” is “looking through the glass (mirror) wrongly” as they have a distorted view of what is right, what is wrong and what the meaning of liberty is. To me liberty means the right not to be imposed upon as well as the responsibility not to impose upon. And only a morally good and Godly people can balance as lofty a right as liberty.
You are absolutely right. Sometimes the idea of liberty is distorted for the benefit of those who live on the fringe. (by fringe, I am taking a hard core definition). For example, this same group would say it is a “liberty” to sell babies, toddler, children to be raped. It is a “freedom”, right? It is certainly pushing the extreme sense of the word. Freedom and liberty does go hand in hand with how it affects other people... especially negatively.

You know, on another thread, I was debating whether pornagraphy could be beneficial to society in any way, such as in preventing rape rates. Somebody (little jeremiah I think) pointed out that my argument was duplicitous and that got me to thinking.
They were right. My thinking was not consistent. The whole temporary-ness of sexual gratification that pornagraphy encourages only exacerbates this kind of behavior. I hope that little jeremiah and DJMacWow can accept my sincere apology. I am young and still developing my worldview, and I like to examine things from multiple sides. It is my goal to develop a worldview consitent with the Christian faith. I want to thank these two for making me really examine what I was saying. I hope they can forgive me for my brashness (I was being a bit of a jerk) and ignorance.

I frequently argued with democrats that pedophilia and homosexuality are similar. “That’s disgusting!” They’d always cry back. Well, now the professionals are saying it. And it’s supposed to be a good thing.
