Undocumented workers collected $4.2 billion in a tax credit last year, up from less than $1 billion five years ago. The Additional Child Tax Credit is a refundable tax credit meant for working families but as a result of a vague U.S. law as well as an expansion of the tax credit in stimulus [read Obama] legislation the number of illegal workers receiving the money has skyrocketed. The payment of this tax benefit appears to provide an additional incentive for aliens to enter, reside and work in the United States without authorization which contradicts federal law and policy to remove such incentives. Refundable credits can result in refunds even if NO income tax is withheld or paid, the report noted.

It projects that within twenty years, if not curtailed, this foreign invasion could collapse the whole economic and social infrastructure of America. Check it out. By the way, Rector was cited in Congress and appeared on radio and TV shows warning us of the dangers of this policy. This was during the Bush administration when the comprehensive immigration (amnesty) bill was before the House.

A friend of mine who grew-up in South America, recently had to go to the emergency room. Before they would even touch her they made her fill out the forms, produce an insurance card and even demanded PAYMENT before they would even treat her (she did get them to agree to billing her the $50 copay).
As she speaks Spanish like a native and no hint of an accent with her English, I told her she should have screwed with them and whined and carry-on in Spanish the whole time.
Another scam just a few miles from me involved three people (legal citizens, born here) collected about one million two hundred thousand from the taxpayers. They were arrested and convicted. They are serving time.
What is being caught is the tip of the iceberg. Both legal citizens and illegals are being caught. The system allows for numerous scams simply because the system is unable to act prior to the scam being underway. Think housing bubble.
EVERYONE needs to pay taxes...EVERYONE....FLAT TAX NOW!!!

I think we aren’t doing a good enough job of explaining some of the overlooked problems of illegals.
Right off the top I think we should be looking at how many of our congressional seats in DC exist simply because of the presence of illegal aliens. If there are 30 million illegals, its enough to populate more than 50 congressional seats and they only need be counted to create them.
How different would America be with 40 or 50 less democrats in the house of representatives?
The media party will have none of it. This is secret. The PeeLousy/Reed/Zero “stimulus” went to tax cuts remember? What they really meant was billions in EITC. God help us.

The fact that our government grows as a result of the illegals being here. Congressional lines are drawn and money apportioned based on census counts of people who aren’t legitimately here. Again, how many extra congressmen are in congress due to the presence of illegals?
The cost in infrastructure maintenance that results from the excess wear and tear might not be a bad way to frame the issue. Infrastructure spending is one of Obama’s common demands for money.
I would have to believe your estimate is a correct estimate of the number in congress due to the presence of illegals.
The costs illegals cost the taxpayers is documented. The figures shown to the taxpayers are probably bogus just as the twelve million illegals inside the country is bogus. People are awakening to the problem otherwise you and I would not be discussing it, yet I agree the problem is growing. I haven't come upon the answer to change people's minds, though like you, I continue to try to come up with an answer. For the moment, I take some of the awakening of the people of America as a good sign, and the time for illegals may eventually pass. If not, nobody can say you nor I failed to warn those who see only good coming from an invasion force which murders, robs, pillages, and destroys America in the long run. Ask any American Indian. American Indians know what an invasion means.

And while we are telling it, let's also tell that the Earned Income Tax Credit, to which you refer, was proposed by Nixon, signed into law by Ford and increased under every administration since, without exception.

When I lived in California, I used to see illegal immigrants buy drivers lics and social security cards in parking lots.
The going rate was 200 each, or 2 for 300. I once made the mistake of copying down both lic plates, and calling the cops. They screamed at me “ we don’t have time for that $hit “
