Skip to comments.Coulter on Palin: Let’s face it, she’s probably not electable

Interesting segment, not because Coulters advancing any new criticisms of Palin but because shes willing to acknowledge openly the political risk on the right in criticizing her in the first place. According to Coulter, conservatives refuse to challenge Palin publicly because they dont want to deal with the hate mail from her supporters. Thats part of it, Im sure by now, all columnists and bloggers know what awaits after criticizing Palin or, say, Ron Paul but I suspect the better part is that theres simply no faster ticket to RINOville among some grassroots conservatives than uttering a discouraging word about Sarah. Its the ultimate one of us litmus test; not even a right-winger as stalwart and confrontational as Coulter is immune, apparently, from the inevitable establishment/RINO/sellout/Beltway cocktail party nonsense afterward. That said, Im curious why shes speaking up now. Has she reached the point where she just doesnt care anymore? Or is she so worried about the election that shes willing to lose some fans in the interest of maximizing the GOPs advantage?
Exit quotation: Shes become sort of the Obama of the tea party, shes just The One to a certain segment of right-wingers. Click the image to watch.
That book was a collection of her best, from her columns and TV appearances, and was meant to draw in people who were not conservatives. We had seen it all before, they hadn’t. It was an editing marvel, and the perfect gift for someone on the borderline.
Romney will get hit over the head as easily by his MassCare (which became ObamaCare) like hitting a bum with a dead fish and stealing his shopping cart. The Left wants him to run, too.
Look, America. If it came down to a vote between Obama and Palin, what would you do? (The Left already knows the answer, hence their attacks on the Tea Party). "Take the son-of-a-bitches out", "tell them to go straight to Hell", "barbarians at the gate", etc. What more evidence do you need to understand that a sizable group in this country hates your guts? (these comments are not directed to you CyberAnt).
To the many geniuses on this thread, has it ever occurred to you that the TEA Party IS the Third Party, yet? What they're trying to accomplish is bringing on-board the so-called conservative Republicans who, 'till now, have been all too willing to work with communists who now call themselves 'progressives'. No matter the label, negotiating with them weakens America as it was founded.
Our job, this next election, is to defeat these bastards once-and-for-all. Your children and grandchildren are counting on you to do the right thing. Shirk this responsibility at your own risk.
If Sarah Palin isn't facing-off with this Marxist Kenyan in Nov. 2012, then I'll be putting my resources to work elsewhere. Y2K can't hold a candle to what lies ahead for us all should we send another McCain, McDole, McRomney, McPerry, McCristy, McAnyone up against Teh One in November. Remember, THEY are the minority, and never forget it.
These desperate pricks have already begun to attack Real Americans for holding dear to their Constitution and the Rule of Law. I have nothing but contempt for them, including some in my own family.
This country shall not descend from this earth by the greedy demands placed upon it by those with unearthly expectations, but rather, by those who refuse to take a stand on behalf of that which is just.
To put it another way, "My ten dollar an hour job can no longer support your pension and benefits, union-boy". "Here's a kick in the nuts."
rubio is soft on immigration....against AZ law
Interesting my wifey is a traditional southern mom/wife and supports Palin or Perry or Bachmann...as do I
It’s my true opinion. If you want to call that trolling fine, but you will be mistaken.
I will never forget or forgive the utter contempt McCain showed for the working people of this country. Have you forgotten his remark that Americans couldn’t pick vegetables for $50 an hour? ‘You couldn’t do it my friend.’
He is an elitist ass who looks down his nose at all of us who have worked hard during our lives and compares us unfavorably to Mexicans. Same old, same old. Sarah Palin was his running mate and supported him. Same old, same old.
I agree with you, though if it came down to a race between Palin and Obama, Palin gets my vote.
As far as I know ONLY Sarah Palin has a realistic recovery and jobs plan to reinvigorate America, everyone else has a plan that will only benefit unions or special interest groups loyal to the “party”.
Here's a fun exercise: Tell Ann Coulter that Chris Christie is fat.
I'll bet her response will be to send you flowers and wash your car. Perhaps make you dinner.
This, coming from the only person on the planet who wants Chris Christie to be President.
Palin has never said she would announce a decision by Labor Day.
They are worried about Sarah busting up the ‘business as usual’ crowd in Washington...Obama is secondary to them. Hell, Obama helps them sell books and maintain ratings. It is interesting to note that even with Rush, Levin, Hannity and all the rest out there; the country keeps sliding to the left...
Why is EVERYONE making the argument that Palin can’t beat Obama? Doesn’t she have to get through the primary process and win the nomination first? Why worry..?
Damn...that logic and common sense isn’t going to fit in around here at all...
So making too much money and having too much pull are bad things in your warped little world?
Absolutely not! Coulter was a Mitt Romney fan. Now she's a Chris Christie fan, with Romney as backup.
Ann, you cute little mitten.
I’d click ‘like’ on that if I could. Yep.
That'd be what you are experiencing since you are implying with your coarse language that Sarah Palin is a tease. You're the one (along with Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham) who is being "driven up a wall" by her supposed indecision.
