Coulter on Palin: Let’s face it, she’s probably not electable

Interesting segment, not because Coulter’s advancing any new criticisms of Palin but because she’s willing to acknowledge openly the political risk on the right in criticizing her in the first place. According to Coulter, conservatives refuse to challenge Palin publicly because they don’t want to deal with the hate mail from her supporters. That’s part of it, I’m sure — by now, all columnists and bloggers know what awaits after criticizing Palin or, say, Ron Paul — but I suspect the better part is that there’s simply no faster ticket to RINOville among some grassroots conservatives than uttering a discouraging word about Sarah. It’s the ultimate “one of us” litmus test; not even a right-winger as stalwart and confrontational as Coulter is immune, apparently, from the inevitable establishment/RINO/sellout/”Beltway cocktail party” nonsense afterward. That said, I’m curious why she’s speaking up now. Has she reached the point where she just doesn’t care anymore? Or is she so worried about the election that she’s willing to lose some fans in the interest of maximizing the GOP’s advantage?

Exit quotation: “She’s become sort of the Obama of the tea party, she’s just ‘The One’ to a certain segment of right-wingers.” Click the image to watch.

Funny, I thought Ann was an establishment/RINO/sellout/”Beltway cocktail party” type long before she decided to open her yap about Palin.

Ignoring Allahpundit’s sissy whining...

Labor Day has passed and no announcement. Governor Palin probably has herself decided the numbers don’t add up to victory.

As a fan of hers I knew it was possible to overcome her negatives but it was not a sure thing by any measure.

Aah, I get it - acknowledging the extreme difficulty Palin would have at defeating Obama means somehow you’re a RINO.

I agree, I like her, but I think at this point, her unfavourables are too high. I understand why she quit being governor, but she needed to stay to gain that executive experience if she wants to run for president. Now the perception out there will be that she couldn’t hack it when the going got tough. That’s the way the dems would be most likely to play it if she were to run.

I usually like Coulter’s assessment of situations....but she really is losing it since she convinced herself that homosexuality was “genetic” and has adopted moral relativism. Heads up, Annie, Marxist believe and practice moral relativism (where the Big Lie rules—up is down). They are trying to destroy biological relationships....read Marx’s hierarchy of gender....He thinks women and men are interchangeable.

Our Constitution is based on Objective Truth—yep, God’s standard of right and wrong. Body parts have a function—and it is dysfunctional and damaging both mentally and physically to misuse the body. I know you have no children.....but it is teaching cognitive dissonance to tell kids about homosexuality—they are trying hard to make sense of the world....you confuse them and force immoral concepts on them, sexualize them—make them focus on sex organs during latency period (read Freud and the damage it does to sexual identity and worth when taught Sex Ed in a group, inpersonal setting....destroys moral aspect of the sex act. Makes it meaningless—Marcuse is the one who had the idea of Sex Ed in schools, to corrupt the kids.

Sex Ed is the easiest method to destroy intelligence and morality in children. Make good little Marxists/atheists—trousered copulating apes.

Come on, Ann. Change a child’s worldview to a homosexual one? Like the Brownshirts? Read Pink Swastika and you will see what bambi is doing to our military......removing morality —the Christian paradigm—the only thing which made our military different from Russia’s and Hitler’s? What a great idea/not.

Moral relativism is evil and you should know that. Palin is one of the few people out their (besides Michelle Bachman) who believes in the fundamental principles of the US—that there is Objective Truth and our legal system is built on it....Right Reason according to Nature.

You, Annie, should be yelling about all the legal positivism destroying our Rule of Law and making a joke out of “Just Law”. Holmes destroyed the Rule of Law....why don’t you fix it? Palin sure will if she is elected.

I don’t go along with Ann Coulter’s skepticism of Sarah Palin’s chances. However, I can understand how Ann would see a Palin candidacy as a big gamble. This is a situation where Sarah Palin needs the skills of a good political analyst to know the political landscape and determine if it is a go or a no go. Even for the experts, this type of political survey is hard stuff. Because Ann Coulter does not have the benefit of a political analyst, she can only speak on what she can see.

To put together a political campaign on a national level is serious work. The work ethic of Sarah Palin is up to the task. She will surprise the entire country if a huge up-swell of support occurs when she puts her hat in the ring. If that produces momentum, she could attract a popularism that no candidate has ever achieved. Then she wins.

I don’t see Ann Coulter as a gambler woman. Knowing the stakes as huge for this country as they are, she wants a sure thing. Sarah Palin has that factor of unpredictability that gives Ann the jitters.

Supporting the ultimate RINO, Myth Rameny, has a lot more to do with it than criticizing Sarah Palin. Coulter, it turns out, is a NE republican ie a liberal.

Um. Little Miss Unelectable just drew a crowd twice as big as Mitt Romney’s in Manchester. But that’s okay. It’s not as if he’s got a place up there, lived in the Boston area ever since he moved there to go to Harvard forty years ago and spent a couple of election cycles trying to wire the place up.

Oh, wait...

“IT’s a topsy-turvy world. Tammy Bruce is a strong supporter of Palin.”

Ironic, isn’t it? Maybe it’s a jealousy thing. Sarah is a knockout. Perhaps these other presumably straight women view her as competition? Tammy Bruce is, of course, an out of the closet lesbian.

GOProud supports Sarah Palin as does lesbian, pro-abortion advocate, Tammy Bruce. The latter being featured in the film The Undefeated.

“It’s inexplicable, but no question ... Palin is gay kryptonite.”

So how would we explain Tammy Bruce? I guess she isn’t gender confused?

Ann Coulter is BIG on Christie for President.

Good point.

Actually that dawned on me after I posted.

I’ll have to think on that. It’s significant. Gotta be an explanation.
