FULL TITLE: 'A social pariah': How lonely Monica Lewinsky has failed to find happiness... and is STILL the butt of lewd Clinton jokes

She was the White House intern who found fame for all the wrong reasons.

Now, 17 years later, Monica Lewinsky is still trying to play down her scandalous affair with then-President Bill Clinton.

She is single, her line of handbags failed to catch on and, according to the National Enquirer, is living the life of a near recluse.

Monica, 38, flits between homes in Los Angeles owned by her mother, her father and brother and an apartment in New York that is also owned by the Lewinsky family. But her life is far from a social whirl of a-list parties and she is said to spend much of her time alone.

An insider told The Enquirer that Monica has given up her own place and moves between the two coasts trying to work out projects that may never get off the ground. Her apparent goal is to set up her own public relations company.

The insider said: 'Monica's self-esteem is at an all-time low.

While in some ways I feel sorry for Lewinsky, she made a very stupid decision that ruined her life. However, the blame should also fall on Clinton. He had no problem pushing a sexual relationship with Lewinsky and openly lied about it. Had it not been for Lewinsky keeping the infamous blue dress, Clinton’s minions would have smeared her reputation even more or worse still she could have been another Vince Foster. Despite Clinton being a pervert scumbag and perjurer, he has been glorified and is making millions while Lewinsky was dumped like yesterday’s trash.

Blill Clintion has to have a string of other women along the road.

And because liberals and supporters of Clinton will, from time to time, defend him by saying, "You Republicans impeached him for getting a bl@wjob!" -- we should always remind them that Monica was brought into the picture because of Clinton's actions with Paula Jones. Republicans couldn't care less that the President was being fellated by an intern. But feminists always like to preach about "sexual harrassment," similar to what Paula Jones experienced. And when lawyers for Ms. Jones tried to find a little justice, they were ridiculed because the MSM and feminists circled the wagons around Clinton, and made it to be the tawdry affair it was.

The Democrats voted Clinton in twice. They are such hypocrites! So much for sexual harrassment and their men’s
power problem. I can’t believe this girl would want to show her face again after what happened. If I were her I’d move to another country and pretend I never heard of President Clinton.

Your post:

Well said!.

My socialist spouse and I agree on one thing here. The awesome power wielded by an irresponsible man. This as opposed to a vulnerable young woman. Just quick homily here on the case, most Americans heard of in the 1960's. John Profumo, Britain's Defence Minister, was caught out with call girl Christine Keeler. He resigned and went into "Charity Work".

Years later, a Canadian gadfly, Fred C Dobbs followed up on the two participants in the affair. (Later thrown off the CBC- too raunchy). Profumo was give high honours by the Queen and went to Buckingham Palace for the honour. Lots of money in his bank. Christine Keeler had a little two room "flat". She was lunch lady at a local school. Then they fired her, because of the whispers and jokes. I believe she went on assistance benefits. Old Victorian expression among women.

The woman always pays!

Poor girl. I’d change my name if I were her.

What good would that do? People would still recognize her face.

All the fault of the Federal government——They are telling all of us to be very careful about having a partner with HIV.......

How many times a year does Monica get herself tested???

Bill was not very discriminating....even in his college days.

Sadly, you're probably right. I believe her "loneliness" is caused by a spiritual emptiness, probably very common among today's youth, especially those living off the means of others. Her spiritual void led her into her troubles, and she'd probably find more meaning and "happiness" in a place where she wasn't recognized...possibly doing some kind of charity work.

It would be a significant achievement if Monica could do a 180 degree turn about as you suggest. She would undoubtedly live a richer and fuller life than in the shallow waters of the coastal liberal bastions. Unfortunately, I cannot see it happening for her. She appears to be consumed by self-pity, liberal faith, and spending her parent's money. No wonder her existence is such a void in her soul.

Well said.

It's apparent she is caught up in a death spiral and can't muster the strength to hop off.
