The bankruptcy of Solyndra is damaging to Obama. This crackdown by the FBI may be a way for Obama to distance himself from the scandal. In other words, Obama is throwing Solyndra under the bus by making it seem that he is protecting us from waste, fraud, and abuse.

I think you are on to something. This way, Obama can say he cannot comment on the matter since it is the subject of a federal investigation.
It looks like Dear Leader’s grip on the levers of the government bureaucracy is slipping...
Why did this take so long?
By making a few well-placed donations to the Obama campaign, George Kaiser and his buddies managed to get a half-billion dollars in government money injected into their little enterprise. But then things went South, making the investment an embarrassment to Obama. All of a sudden Kaiser & Co. are crooks, and the FBI is crawling over them. Hopefully this will give similarly-situated Silicon Valley liberals pause as they too consider donating to Obama to get some of that Government OPM. |
