Romney is Obama-Lite. Take the simple pledge:

I will not vote for Romney for any reason.

His refusal to admit Romneycare was a stupid idea

You are on to something here. This has also been troubling me.

Romney tries to cloak this in the 10th Amendment. He would be better off admitting that Romneycare was an idea that didn't work, and should be repealed, just like he "says" he'll do to Obamacare.

Exactly right. If Obozo get’s re-elected, there’s a real chance he’ll have the opportunity to put another insane leftist (like Sotomayor and Kagan) on the USSC. That will give the commies a majority. Then, we will surely witness the destruction of this nation.

Exactly.
Do I love Romney. No.
I’m not crazy about any of the candidates right now.

But whoever wins the nom, wins my vote.

Can’t take 4 more years of socialist destruction on the country I love.

Put down the bong, and quit deluding yourself.

America will endure fascism regardless of which party is in power.

The Founders warned our predecessors about the dangers of political factions; unfortunately, their successors (all the way to the present) dismissed their advice.

The great thing about America is that nobody is obligated to vote.

Just don’t complain if Obama is re-elected, and I won’t complain if Romney turns out to be Obama.

I'll vote for Elmer Fudd if he's the nominee. Because one more hour with zero is devastating.

Well, for me, that’s why I won’t vote for Romney. He has taken so many positions on every issue, I don’t believe a word he says. I think he’s a big government liberal, who wants me to think he’s a conservative. Did you push for a socialist takeover of the healthcare industry while Governor of Massachusetts? Yes. Was that a mistake??? Man, Mitt Romney, if you can’t bring yourself to admit the obvious... you don’t deserve my vote.

In the primaries I’d never vote for Romney the chameleon, but in the general I’d vote for a can of asparagus over Hussein if it were the Republican nominee. The balance of the Supreme Court alone is just too important to not vote for whoever the Republicans nominate.

Romney isn’t going to be the nominee anyway. I think the most likely ticket is Perry/Rubio.

Check the numbers again. There’s a very real possibility that the occupant of the white house could appoint FOUR OR MORE Supreme Court Justices before 2016. That would mean, as they say, the whole shootin’ match.

Pledges like this are what SOCIALIST VICTORIES are made of.

If it comes down to Romney vs zero, I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote for Romney. I’ll vote for anyone over obama.

I don't think I will ever vote for Romney. That's just what the Republican establishment wants. At least we should keep telling them that we wont vote for Romney.

But even if I do (and we'd be talking major "hold your nose"), not enough others will. Romney running is the only way I think Obama can win re-election.

If the GOP nominates Romney, they deserve to lose...

Mittens will at least repeal Obamacare. That will allow the economic engine to begin turning again. Rather have a true conservative, but we’ll all be in the poor house if we get Zero for 4 more years. Hell I’d vote for ole Slick Willie before letting Zero have 4 more years

Politicians say things all over the spectrum, including whichever ones you support. How about Perry supporting algore?

You can choose whomever you want, but I expect there will be a republican House and Senate, and I want the pres to sign the legislation because I expect it to be dominated by the tea party. I also expect the congress will approve the supreme court justices we all want and expect a republican to nominate.

We’re only in the early stages, stop stomping your foot, and wipe the spittle from your mouth.

Then, if Obama wins you have no right to complain.

Why not? We have to accept their big fat turd? Or is it stupid douche?

I am encouraged to see so many Freepers put this kind of rhetoric down.

Four more years of BHO and I truly believe we are screwed as a world leader. I lived the Europe and I see European polices everywhere. How many European Microsoft's and Apples are there... none. We need to roll back all those regulations and the agencies that cropped up in last 3 or 4 years.

Get America moving again !

Romney the pro-gay, pro-abortion, anti-gun liberal from Massachusetts WILL appoint liberal/unknown justices.

I'm not a Romney fan (but still undecided on a GOP choice), but I really doubt the above. A President Romney will still need to work with Conservatives activists and leaders, including Senators like Demint and Toomey, in an environment dominated by groups like the Tea Party. If he wants to be a success, have a second term and a legacy, he won't be able to afford to move outside a fairly inflexible set of constraints defined by the Conservative Wing of the GOP.

The next two Presidential terms will likely see the retirement or death of Scalia (solid Originalist), Kennedy (moderate/swing) and Ginsburg (solid statist). Even if there's a chance that a President Romney would appoint Liberals to their positions, that chance is MUCH less than the absolute certainty that President Obama will.

On that alone, if he gets the nomination he'll definitely get my vote.
