Well, in theory someone else could have (and still could) run, although IMHO, that person would get blown out in the General Election.
With Obamacare such a big issue, I really don’t see why Romney even bothers running. He must be profoundly out of touch.
There are close to 70% of people polled who’d never vote for that someone. That someone has no chance, unfortunately. The majority of Americans aren’t political junkies...therefore, they’ll look at who has the record for jobs and the economy. Perry has that record especially during Obama’s depression in the USA. All the rest is a sideshow.
I have written here in FR several times that I honestly think there is something wrong with Romney.
