AttackWatch.com is the Administration's Latest Propaganda Arm by David Limbaugh
Townhall ^ | Sept. 16, 2011 | David Limbaugh

President Obama's official re-election campaign has set up a website ostensibly to defend him against false attacks, but its obvious purpose is to smear Republicans and propagandize. What could be more shameless??

Does any rational person believe these people anymore? They trade in lies and misinformation, and the only chance they have to re-elect Obama -- and it's still slim -- is to grossly distort Obama's record and fabricate fantasies about his opposition.?

That's what this new website is all about. It's called "AttackWatch.com," but it should be called "AttackDog.com."

The recent New York and Nevada elections and Obama's ever-cratering approval ratings show how desperately he is hemorrhaging support. He has no choice but to divert our attention from the record and onto red herrings he can generate through false characterizations of his opponents. That's what AttackWatch.com is about. That's what the entire re-election effort is about.

Attack Watch is trademark KGB stuff in calling for fellow-traveling informers.

Yesterday, David’s brother read one of the better comments from the site on the air: “Is this going to be available in the original German?”

Hilarious.

This thing is going to have a very short life given how people are playing with it.

During the campaign in summer 2008 there was “Fight the Smears” which flopped. Then two years ago we were treated to “If you see something fishy about health insurance reform, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.” Now we have “AttackWatch.”

These people would enjoy having the Stasi in our country. They are sick.

These people are the Stasi in our country. I must report myself to #attackwatch for saying that.

So far, I’ve reported 246 million people. Obammay is worried.

Based on what I’ve read, it should be called the “biggest comedy hit of the fall”.

Exactly what does the Obama administration plan to do with input from the attackwatch website?

Could the intent of harvesting names be of negative impact to those "reported to attackwatch" later when Obamacare becomes fully operational?

Who trusts an administration that makes citizens wait to find out the consequences and repercussions of what they do?

Good post. I never heard this before:
…the Obama-Holder Justice Department had formed a secret in-house blogging group to participate on websites to influence public opinion. Dubbed the "Blog Squad," this political operation was operating out of the very halls of the institution dedicated to administering justice…it was paying partisan political operatives to scour the Internet for news stories, commentaries and blog posts critical of the administration's agenda and then post comments supporting the administration -- all without identifying who was behind the posts…

You know, this whole thing is a serious slap in the face of the DNC Media. They’re clearly not getting the job done.

Stole the idea from the Chinese. Some of those are soooo obvious.

And the rat fink site just keeps getting better and better. Not only did I get an email congratulating me on alerting them to subversives, now, they want me to volunteer to help re-elect the Obama. I don't think that will work out because I am white, male, short haired, no tats or piercings(40 yr. old shrapnel wounds don't count), and I have patriotic slogans on my car. But, I will give it a try and volunteer to keep the only lists of their local organizing.

“Hard to believe this stuff happens in the 57 states.”

I saw a post on “attachwatch.com” where somebody reported the following:

“I just saw a map of the United States and noticed that somebody has stolen 7 states. Please look into this. Thx.”

I checked out their web site and found you had to give your email address in order to report your self to the GESTAPO, what do you suppose they are going to do with all of those email addresses. Do you think the Geheime Staatspolizei will come for me at zero dark thirty; my dogs will let me know, just hope I have enough ammo.
Nah; won’t happen my place doesn’t even have an address, not even in a GIS database yet.

Excellent. I'm sure they'll appreciate the effort to find and document all of their half dozen supporters who live in your area.
