Enjoy life then...I refuse to be that close minded. There are many religions in this world.

As I stated before, it was sarcasm....I’m sorry you didn’t get it.

There are many religions, but only one true faith (Christ).

That isn’t close minded, it is Biblical.

I’m sure billions of people feel otherwise. None of us know, we’ll find out when we die.

Than it will be to late. And just because Billions of people feel otherwise, doesn’t make them right. Faith is not a popularity contests.

You aren’t a very good Catholic are you? Or are you only culturally Catholic? The Bible is clear. Its now or never, buddy. Although your statement makes it clear why you don’t have an issue with Romney.

Hebrews 9:27 - And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, NASB

Matthew 7:14 - How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it! Douay-Rheims Bible

I thought that bible also said not to cast stones and judge someone else....funny, that’s exactly what you just did in judging me.

I never said the billions were right, I said billions disagree. Am I a good Catholic...probably not. 17 years of Catholic school including university will do that to you.

Actually it says not to judge unrighteously, or hypocritically. I judged you based on your actions. Do you need more verses that state Christians SHOULD judge? I can provide them.

It doesn’t matter if they disagree, they are wrong. Period.

I did only 4 years in Catholic school, but I was never Catholic.

It talks about judging hypocritically, not judging at all.
Christians are called to judge others who claim to be Christians and judge false doctrine.

But keep going, you are proving my point.

Els, do you have the judging verses handy?

No, you are cherry picking some of the passages when clearly others do not say this. Are you a Theologian?

You are proving my point and a hypocrite on this issue

"I Don't Think You Have a Heart"

Els, do you have the judging verses handy?

"I Don't Think You Have a BRAIN if you don't follow the 'children' home and give them and their 'parents' a free ride to the border; where Mom and Dad can decide to leave their kids in the USofA's protective custody while they get sent back over the border or take their kiddies with them.

Really....where is your Theology degree from? I want to make sure to send a letter to them that some of their students apparently slept through class and learned to cherry pick parts of the bible and ignore other parts to make their case.

LOL. Moody Bible Institute - Chicago. Top of my class.

You are the one cherry picking, not me. But, go ahead, continue in your ignorance. I tried to correct you, my part is done.

The lie that Christians are not to judge is not only demonic, but a liberal lie as well.

Try reading John Stott or Erwin Lutzer’s book “Who are you to judge?”

Oh and what parts have I ignored? The Bible is to be read in full for context on certain doctrines and discernment (judging) is one of them.

Maybe if you actually read the Bible or took a basic theology class you would see the truth. But I doubt you will bother. Just like Mormons you would rather wallow in ignorance than pursue the truth.

For your edification. Since you claim to be a Christian and accused me of judging others faith...try a little research. You are the one who says it doesn’t matter what someone believes than drug out Matt 7. To which I responded we are to not judge hypocritically, to which you replied that I was ‘cherry picking’ verses and not using them properly.

Here are several articles from other theologians on why it is proper for Christians to judge other Christians beliefs, teachings and actions. Also I recommend Erwin Lutzer’s book that I mentioned above about Christians judging.

http://userwww.service.emory.edu/%7Ecmadd01/shouldju.html

One of the reasons for the Church being in such a sickly condition today is that believers have not obeyed the commands of God’s Word to judge error. “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them” (Romans 16:17). The false teachers make the “divisions,” and not those who protest against their errors.

An often misapplied Scripture is “Judge not” (Matthew 7:1). This is a command against hypocritical judgment, and is not directed to those who in love and sincerity discern whether a teacher or teaching is true or false to the Word. “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considereth not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:1-5).

Actually, the last statement of this Scripture commands sincere judgment: “then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” We are not to forget nor seek to avoid the fact that our Lord Jesus commanded us to “judge righteous judgment.” He commended one, “Thou hast rightly judged.” He asked others, “Why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?” (John 7:24; Luke 7:43; 12:57). Paul wrote, “I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.” Again, “He that is spiritual judgeth all things” (1 Corinthians 10:15; 2:15). http://withchrist.org/judge.htm

Since this topic got started about Romney’s Mormonism and its false teachings, here is a link that addresses that specific subject (false teachings)...

http://www.bibleteacher.org/Judging.htm

Here is a Catholic one for you.

http://www.catholicthinker.net/its-un-christian-not-to-judge/

Oh, and I can give you many more, even more Catholic ones if you would like that state the exact same thing. You are not only out of your Church’s view, you are out of the view of Christianity in general and have failed to properly understand Matt 7.

So, yes, I DID pay attention in theology and biblical studies courses. Game set match.
