Chris Christie Reconsidering 2012 Run, Will Decide in Days
Newsmax via Drudge ^

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is reconsidering his decision not to enter the 2012 presidential race — and he says he will let top Republican donors know within days about his plans, Newsmax has learned. During the past few weeks, several leading Republican donors and fundraisers have been urging the popular Republican governor to reconsider his decision not to run and to enter the GOP primary. These Christie supporters note that significant GOP support has remained on the sidelines of the primary fight. Many leading fundraisers have yet to commit to any current primary contender, including frontrunners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. Newsmax has learned that the effort to draft Christie culminated in a hush-hush powwow held in the past week with Christie and several notable Republican billionaires.

So you are taking the same vile and foul language that liberals use against Palin but using it against another poster on this forum who said nothing foul about Palin.

No, you're lying.

The language directed towards Bristol was to ask if her bull-riding was the same sexual position she used with her boyfriend / lover; to call her mother a whore to her face; and the other language towards Palin involved the violent sexual fantasies of a convicted rapist involving intercourse with a professional athlete so forceful that it would derange her digestive organs.

I was complaining about the "in your FACE" nature of the other poster's writings: not expressing a wish that anything vile would *HAPPEN* to her.

Nice try, though.

Cheers!

Oh, please. I know all about you and all about the mods. Half of them are posters for Palin. As for you. Get lost. You can’t debate and you can’t dance, and we’ve all been exposed to what you dream about. Just take it somewhere else. Get lost.

What the vile attack of liberals on Palin and her daughter has to do with your vile attack on a poster? Man, are you for real?

And what is this "noob" thing? Does it mean that I am new here? Is there a rule for new people where they are not allowed to confront a poster who is posting a vile language against another poster? I am supposed to shut up because I am new? How about cower in fear or hide under my bed? And yes I support Rick Perry. We either have Perry or Romney as the nominee and I am supporting for Perry.

I've a better idea.

Why don't YOU start posting substantive posts, like I suggested?

In the meantime, if you prefer the company of other Perry fans, and you are not just a Perry operative trying to shill for him or disrupt a non-Perry-worshipping-site, try posting over at Ace of Spades or RedState. RedState in particular more or less held a purge of strong Palin fans around the beginning of 2011.

Cheers!

I understand but the American people will not get control of the money bags....even with a change of polticians...they simply wait, stall and secure their share til it’s their turn to issue who gets it.

Anybody with that weight can not be considered a serious presidential candidate because there are clearly issues there.

Gotta agree with that. Look what everyone was saying about Bachmann and her migraines. Someone as morbidly obese as Christie could stroke out at any moment, not to mention blood pressure issues, stamina on the election trail, suitability for the stresses of the office, reputation with foreign leaders, etc. Way too many negatives on health alone before we even get to the political leanings.

They're apples and oranges, n00b.

One is describing someone's posting history in, ahem, colorful, terms.

If you check my posting history I often accuse people of masturbating when they are being really bombastic without substance, or posting often-refuted talking points over and Over and OVER again.

The other poster fits that description to a "T".

The other cases are openly talking in public to a 20-year-old-girl FACE TO FACE to discuss her past sexual history in a LITERAL sense, calling her mother a whore to her face, and a convicted rapist talking about sexual fantasies of a public figure being subjected to forceful and debilitating intercourse.

As a Perry troll, you of course can't tell the difference, even after it's been explained to you.

Yes, "n00b" means "n00bie" (newbie).

N00bs can post whatever they want, to whomever they want, whenever they want, but if you are new, you're likely to not know past history behind things, or inside jokes, etc.

There have been campaigns to get rid of people organizing en masse for RINO candidates before (e.g. Guiliani and the infamous "bug-zapper" thread). There have been warnings to some of the more profligate pro-Perry posters that they would be well advised to tone it down.

And yes, you missed a pro-Palin poster with a 1998 sign-up date getting the zot about two weeks ago: they were spamming a Perry thread with continuous and repeated one-line insults without substantiation or invitation to any higher level discussion.

Read the totality of my posts on this thread: I invited the other poster to back up their positions with facts, and also gave the name names of two other openly pro-Perry sites in case they felt their pro-Perry posts weren't being properly welcomed here.

Note, by the way, that this other poster *PING*ed the mods and then posted to me (#303) that "they know all about the mods, half of them are pro-Palin posters."

Check up the other poster's history going back a few weeks, and you'll see that they usually have hit-and-run posts amounting to "Perry will win. Perry must win. Nobody has any chance. [Insert anti-Palin talking point of the day/week here.]" etc. etc.

If you want to support Perry, great, but advocate for him on substantive grounds, not just "well, he's electable and Palin can't win" or "Yeah Rah Rah Texas Perry Rah Rah."

Cheers!

I don't think I would mind a Perry/Rubio candidacy. I'd be willing to vote that way if that's how it goes.

Not so sure I'd agree that, “It was always Mitt’s to lose”. He sure didn't win in 2008. If he's the “best” the GOP can offer, then he won't have my vote. He is the quintessential RINO. If "they" haven't understood this yet, there will be a BIG surprise on the first Tuesday in November, 2012.

Don’t be discouraged! Reagan did terrible in the early debates and look what happened. Give it time, things will become clearer as the time nears.

Not only is Rubio conservative but he'd bring the hispanic vote which I think is why Perry is being such a doofus on illegal immigration.

It was either that or Casablanca...and since according to Rush, Bill just torpedoed a lot of Obama's PR initiatives, it could be they're trying to soften up the ground for a Hillary run.

Cheers!

I would not put it past Bill&Hill to pull that fast one. I said on another thread recently that there may have even been a “grand bargain” between Obama and the Toons that, in exchange for Hillary conceding the nomination to him (without spilling the beans on all the dirt she had on him). This deal may be that she got the SOS position - for the extra experience - in exchange for her stepping in to “save” the Democratic party's hold on the Presidency when Obama crashed and burned in his first term. He sure did a lot of damage in the years he's been in, which may be another part of the plan. The Clintons, I doubt, could have done all of that had she been elected. I don't know, maybe I'm imagining too much but I have learned in my old age that few things happen by accident in politics.

There is no perfect conservative.

If there were, we wouldn't need a checks and balances. Sometimes I think some have forgotten that we have a Senate to win and seats in the House to win. Seems like they are saying the heck with Congress, let's get us the perfect candidate.
