Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore has called for an economic boycott of the state of Georgia to protest Wednesday's execution of Troy Davis, the Savannah man convicted of murdering an off-duty police officer in 1989.

"I encourage everyone I know to never travel to Georgia, never buy anything made in Georgia, to never do business in Georgia," Moore wrote on his website in a blog item posted a few hours after Davis' death.

Well I know I am terrified. Michael Moore has ordered a boycott. Losing the tourist revenue of the 3 people who listen to Michael will really hurt our economy. LOL!!!

LOL...Like he was ever welcomed in GA. Seems like the tourist industry should go up a notch.

When Moore says to never travel to Georgia, does he include South Ossetia and Abkhazia? Or are the Putin-controlled parts OK?

Speaking of Troy Davis, Ann Coulter had a powerful column explaining why he really was guilty. Some of the eyewitnesses knew him personally before the shooting. 7 of the 12 members of the jury were black. The supposed recantations weren't really.

Fine! Boycott Georgia...we’ve got way too many newcomers as it is...they love our weather and jobs, but try to make the place “little New York” or “little California”.

I wonder if any liberals are calling for a boycott of Georgia for executing James Byrd’s killer.

I’d like to think I offer plenty of options for viewing. Glad you like.

Until those DC photos were put up, I got very little traffic, at most a few hundred looks in a couple of months. Within a few days of the bulk of them posted, I broke 4 thousand.

Mmmmm..... peanuts

Seriously, hasn’t rich fat Mike turned into quite the rabble rouser these days? Warning the “rich” that the poor are coming, violently, if they don’t “give it up”?

Ironically he is trying to rally the people who, 40 years ago, would have butchered his family, stuck a fork in his belly and written “Helter Skelter” on the walls with his family’s blood

Once again, Moore shows that he is an idiot.

Anyone with a brain would have threatened to FLOOD the state with their propaganda at seriously reduced prices in order to "educate" the poor, deprived folks there.

Instead, Moore is going to deny the good people of Georgia something they don't want in the first place. ("Little Johnny, Mommy will not be fixing any more liver and onions and broccoli casserole for supper until you start cleaning you room!") "YEAH! THAT'LL SHOW 'EM!"

I'm just amazed at how accurately a gun hater like Moore can shoot himself in the foot... since he has not seen either of his feet in YEARS!

(By the way, if you are looking to spend for an excuse to go over on the Georgia side, my wife and I found a decent little seafood place in Hartwell last weekend. The "Dockside" has good food, huge portions and a clean, friendly atmosphere at a VERY fair price. No beer or wine, though.)

Thanks. Look up a place called Reinharts(I think)in Augusta. They’ve got great seafood like spicy boiled shrimp for 3 bucks and change on Mondays. They got beer and wine, too boot.
Yeah, Moore is an idiot. He must think that he’s punishing them by removing his books. LOL! He would be a believer in the philosophy of “The whippings will continue until morale improves” if he were ever in charge of anything.

MM inspired a character in Monty Pythons The Meaning of Life

The character was the comparatively dainty Mr. Creosote. Michael Moore would have wolfed down the "wafer-thin mint," followed it with a turducken-stuffed wildebeest, and an apple cobbler . . . and then asked for seconds.
