China, Japan, India have industrial economies. We have an economy that consists of federal, state and local government workers making up 45 freaking percent of GDP.
Someone should tell Barry that we’re the only industrialized country that taxes corporations returning profits back here from overseas.
What gripes me is that not one reporter or interviewer will get this guy to admit these kinds of things. McCain wasn’t smart enough to debate the guy when such glaring differences exist. If Russert were alive, perhaps he would, but this guy needs to be given sufficient time and camera to explain himself to a good probing interviewer.
I think this is the problem. No one allows this guy to talk more than one minute on any subject. The republicans should call this idiot out on this everynight.
Just think for a moment if you were allowed to keep more of your income. Let’s say if starting this week, the gov’t took only 50% of what they usually take from your paycheck. What would you do?
You’d save, spend, tithe. You’d have less likelihood to go into debt and use your credit cards...
Taxes would be paid on sales and from corporations but at a lower rate than now. Jobs would flow BACK into this country like never before.
We had the best carpet and textile industry at one time. The best manufacturing. The best artisans. What we have now is one big service industry...
