It would be wonderful - even if we only got 30% of the black vote - or 20%. We might pick up a little of the Jewish vote too... If we ‘do what’s right’ long enough - we’ll win new friends over..

If we got 20% of the black vote then Hussein is toast. Maybe the democratic party will start respecting blacks again. Seriously, if you have a block of voters that votes 99% for you, no matter what, then where's your incentive to please them. Most blacks don't realize that this is a major reason why the cities they live in are 1 party towns and usually shiite-holes (think Detroit). Maybe a black man on the GOP ticket is just what the country needs.

I find it remarkable that you have a vocation fraught with chains of slavery, yet use it to encourage freedom. Must be rewarding at the end of the day. I envy you. Thanks for being there for those kids.

He makes a good point that youtes’ initial preferences mirror what their parents say.

At least this is true of elementary school kids, as the Weekly Reader poll is (or at least was at one time) proven to be a powerful election predictor.

That wasn’t quite what she said, I don’t think she was trying to get a dig in, she paid him several compliments. I think she used him as an example of the fickle nature of the lame stream media. Bad example I felt, the attention he is getting is well earned. I was rather troubled by her reference to the Presidency as a title and do you need it to accomplish change in America. Well, of course you don’t. But you run for President if you want to truly lead the country, not because you want to head some movement and would the Presidency be an effective tool for that movement. After hearing her make those comments, I really hope she does not run.

You may have misunderstood my post. Perhaps I didn’t make it clear enough.

I have some friends who are unemployed and I have talked with them a lot. But they have a better chance of landing a job than the high school drop out with long hair and droopy pants.

I don’t find them asking the government to ‘give them a job’ or ‘give them benefits’ because they would rather earn a job, not rely on the government to give them anything.

The job talk I was referring to was from the black community. Lots of talk about jobs but little effort devoted to learning the skills needed.

Most of my friends have the skills but their jobs have gone to India or some such place. One friend returned from her honeymoon to find that her job had gone to India and everyone over the age of 40 had been let go.

The market is bad out there and much worse for anyone over 40. Hang in there.

IMO, Sarah has recently “updated” her make up, by using a toned down version. I had thought her appearance for some time has been mostly one of joylessness, still a tad bitter, shining only when Greta dutifully throws her softballs about Sarah’s favorite subject—the non-fawining media. The big meanies. Tonight, she was whining against a FOX pundit who mentioned the polls showing her low numbers. This she used for an excuse to flog some obscure poll showing her within 5 of Obama. GAD. Will it NEVER end!

“Cain could be the first black President. “

I thought we already had Clinton in the White House?

Teacher here too, FLorida. Was at CPAC this past weekend and I am telling you he stole the show. Not because he’s a great speaker, although he is, but because it wasnt the same ol’ recycled political speech. He was completely without notes, off the cuff yet pure genius. The crowd response to him vs. all other candidates was unparalleled.
I totally hope his campaign holds together. The way I see it, Obama proves that incompetence comes in all colors and Cain demonstrates that common sense knows no color.

Actually Rita that obscure poll was from the NYTimes that showed Sarah polled within 5 points of Obama. AND Sarah did indeed take a Fox mouth piece, (guess that qualifies as a pundit) for reporting a personal bias in regards to Sarah's polling. And yes when I read your misrepresentation of EVERYTHING I too wonder 'will she never end!

You can have Cain’s 999 or Obama’s 666.

It doesn’t surprise me. There was a poll that showed 45% of democrats would vote for Cain over Obama. I thought that was a fluke but some squishy left democrats are taking a look at Cain, because of his economic, immigration and social views.

I believe some people are democrats because they are really just not educated on the differences of the two parties. Cain had people who called into his show like that.

The hard left though, that’s a whole other ball game.

Imagine Cain’s leadership truly transforming the black community, and getting them off the government plantation.

That is the mother of all campaign slogans!

The black vote goes 70% or so for the democrat in every election, right?
Cain could shake it up a bit but not enough to make the black vote matter much because they are SO on the plantation for the dems.
