Sorry but my hiking days are limited to taking the garbage out. But, I definitely enjoyed the beauty of the area and the wonderful people that live there.
Spot on MNJ. I wonder what kind of lobby the tax attorneys, and cpas have ? And how many millions of cpas are there.
Thank you for the excellent list of many of Christie's shortcomings for national office. I was desperately hoping he would have the sense NOT to get in the race. (Fat chance on sense--he's going after the people who ran Giuliani's magnificent campaign.)
However, if he is challenged on those points plus his appointing a Muslim judge, supporting the Victory Mosque at Ground Zero, etc., he'll be out in two debates MAX! Although I think he would come in with a pretty high number because of people who only know of his terrific handling of union teachers and other super left fools. He'll drop like a rock when the rest comes out.
Hopefully that will show the Establishment hacks that they're not calling our shots anymore.
The difference between the topics, survival of the country vs. issues intended to divert our attention.
Unbelievable!
I don’t know why. I don’t think she’s a sellout as much as she’s lost her way.
Focus on the task at hand. Much of the invective posts are from people inside the campaigns in one form or fashion. Most FReepers and all Repubs should respect all the candidates on the Conservative side.
I am working on this special election and completely ignore the individual candidates and am focused on winning this election.
Pray for America
Coulter has gotten comfortable doing the GMA circuit and doesnt want to have to defend true Conservatives. Harry Smith will accept Christie over Palin or Cain so she keeps her credentials.
Question is, who is going to read her books now?
Pray for America
We have to accept the fact that some on our side are just lousy at picking candidates. How else did we end up with Dole, Ford or McCain.
None of the brilliance about Coulter’s great book Treason, for instance, is negated by her inexplicably picking Romney or Christie. Not one word of the overarching truth about the liberal smears in her column just this week is made less true because she herself favors a lib for president.
Coulter is a writer and an on-air pundit/humorist. No one is perfect and she is particularly lame at picking candidates. But many of her books have been ESSENTIAL reading these past years.
(Hey. Everyone has a weak spot somewhere. I can’t hit the curveball to save myself. But donchu be thinking you can get the smoke past me!)
Good post however we have to do more that simply shrug off the racist charges. We have to throw it back into the faces of the regime and let them know we are aware of the con they have been perpetuating on us and let them know it won’t work and will backfire on them.
We want Christie in to split the Mitt Rino vote. More the merrier.
Pray for America
Establishment Republicans, I would expect.
McCain’s comments are predictable. He is starved for attention.
Yeah, I know, Alas. It was a weird moment to hear that. I walked outta the den, I'm cleaning the house for a houseguest later. So, I walk by, and there, big as life, she utters that line.
I froze.
I knew she didn't just say that.
She confirmed it.
I calmly went back into the den, retrieved a large caliber glock, and then, I shot my television.
EAST Tennessee bump!
We want Christie in to split the Mitt Rino vote. More the merrier.
Pray for America

Exactly, And who isn’t so sick of the Christie blather at this point that they haven’t echoed Mark Levin’s taunt when he said, “OK, fat man, get in the race and let’s see you crash and burn.”
(Well, I paraphrase.)
My comfort comes from the belief that we will elect so many more tea partiers that it will make no difference who is Pres. WE WILL LEAD THEM.
It's already happening to a degree.
With a Cain, Palin, Santorum, Bachmann we could relax, With a Romney, Perry, Christie, Gingrich they'd be kept on the straight and narrow by the House of Reps, and maybe even a new senate in Rep. control. They all have a conservative side to them.
Whomever we feel will beat Obama ! ...who, btw, I've come to see as nothing more than a professional money launderer.
Perusing that roster, I see one hell of a cabinet and new adminstration.
Don't get upset FR has always had a wide variety of posters.I pick my threads. As you know your wisdom is always needed here.
Out of control spending is a by production of our corrupt tax code. It creates the illusion that "government benefits" are paid by someone else plus creates the need for massive lobbying that corrupts the political system. Because Congress can always reward or punish via that tax code. Special Interest groups continually pump billions $ into lobbying DC for tax code favors.
9-9-9 elminitate that power.
Understood, but I checked out Demonic from the library and then heard her call Palin supporters Demonic and cultish and took it back without reading it. We are anything but worshipers of Palin.
How can someone turn on her own fans over her pick? Her laughing at us with Ingrahm was the final straw.
Fat chance
Up until then I had not spilled any coffee....
He's good for entertainment, though. It's fun to watch the others react to him.

NOBODY give a crap what Juan says or thinks or does..
Agreed. For that matter all the Sunday shows are amusing but pretty worthless.
One of these days, I expect that Brit Hume will turn to Juan Williams after one of his nonsensical lefty talking points and open his rebuttal with (channeling Chevy Chase) "Juan, you ignorant slut." Sometimes the look of shock and disbelief on Brit's face when he follows one of Juan's comments is just great. The look says as much or more than his (Brit's) follow up words.
Especially how he took the CSN article to task not on it's findings, but on it's assumptions, and was able to articulate his own assumptions and 9-9-9 conclusions in such a simple and articulate manner!
She is also comfortable with Bill Maher...that may explain a lot.
Welcome back, Rod, glad you had a good time! Don’t suppose you got close to that TN town, Murphreesboro, where they’re trying to build that mammoth mosque, did you?
Also, if you would, please pray for my 84 year old mother (Donna) who’s very sick and in the hospital.
Thanks so much.
The rest are always subject to constant screwing up and Anne is hardly an exception. It's the nature of the media and the huge trip from print to on air,few make it well.
Steyn and a few others.
It is actually easier for the Left to do what you worry about under the existing tax system then it would be under 9-9-9
As for controlling all three branches, we have about a 70% chance to control the Senate and the House after 2012 and a better then 50% chance to control the White House. NOW is the time for bold political leadership, not timidity. If we do not size the political moment now, we probably will not as good an opportunity again in our lifetime.
Good post however we have to do more that simply shrug off the racist charges. We have to throw it back into the faces of the regime and let them know we are aware of the con they have been perpetuating on us and let them know it wont work and will backfire on them.
The point really is that if you’re gonna be accused of it no matter what you say, why bother defending? The US will be called “imperialist” no matter what. Always has been, always will be. We can do nothing at all and be called “imperialist.” We could nuke half the world and take over the other half and face the same accusation. Which means, there’s no reason provided by our accusers NOT to nuke half the world and take over the half.
It’s a wonderful place.
I love the way Mark holds back all the time! Its what people love about him.
The proggresive poobahs of Bet and the CBC are all talk—they and their beloved Obama know that unless he threatens their individual fortunes they will keep their myrmidons in line and in line to vote for Obama come 2012 cause to them it is all about race and the aggressively indoctrinated hate for whitey in the majority liberal black is as solid as hate for the Jew is in the aggressively indoctrinated Muslim.
Good post Bob. Hate to get back to Rush all the time but few can contain themselves on air as good as he does.
The rest are always subject to constant screwing up and Anne is hardly an exception. It’s the nature of the media and the huge trip from print to on air,few make it well.
Steyn and a few others.
I’m a little partial to her for personal reasons but if you’re looking for the perfect pundit even when it comes time to pick a candidate look no further than the GREAT Michelle Malkin.
And never leave home without reading her latest column.
I thought Herman Cain was going to be on This Week - has that changed?
I love the way Mark holds back all the time! Its what people love about him.
We need a Cain or Palin or someone who will harness that opportunity to create structural reforms in our Government.
No change will ever be perfect. There are risks in any system we adopt to replace our current corrupt failed tax system.
Cain's 9-9-9 plan is so much better then the existing system, or the other alternative plans being put forward by other candidates, it is worth a good hard look
Yeah...just another ‘racist” mob...ha...and what is that well mannered little girl doing standing there just listening?
Wow chiller way to go! This could be the post of the day right here!
Brilliance personified!
The RNC is slow to learn but this(The Republican Party) will become and will stay a conservative party and will put America not appeasement of the left first. The sooner they learn this the better.Rinoism is dead or dying.
It is ALWAYS Rino season!
That's the best they can do.
That the conservatives haven’t hammered that home for years now is just mind boggling to me also!
DUH!
But then, conservatives in DC and NY are so enthralled with themselves, they miss the forest for the trees...uh, trees that always point to THEM..just THEM!
Bares repeating everyday until the election.
Hang in there....we are great Spritual Warriors...we have to respond in a difficult situation..remember, if they are shooting at you, you must be over the traget! ha.
I often respond on threads not only to someone who vehemently disagrees with me, and even mounts a personal attack ( their “bad”) to bring my points to the Lurkers to give them the other side for them to reflect on.
Yesterday, I heard J.D. Hayworth sitting in for former FNC gal Rita Cosby who is now on talk radio.
Rita chimed in with some guy from Turkey who was explaining how moderate all the muzzzies really are and how Sharia is really just a misunderstood way of life for them and not really a vehicle for terrorism. It was all so sad to see a once vaunted journalist so taken in by the moderate muzzie syndrome.
Sorry,I can't buy it.All these clowns are just brainwashed. Some more than others.
That's why I hope he does get in.
the one thing I could never understand, is Coulter’s close long time friendship with Bill Maher...I could see having a Lib as a friend, but the guy is just a nasty person.
Good post...thanks for encouraging us all and for your valiant efforts to help educate us all!
Christie is a great governor of New Jersey and has a refreshing frank way of talking.
However, he is not conservative enough to be president for most of us.
And I was all over the Fat thread. Someone put up a picture of Taft. Yeah, Taft was fat, but we didn’t have television ... just had to suffer the occasional picture of him sitting in a chair. Anyway, Taft was like 6’2” a huge man.
Christie doesn’t look as if he’s much more than 5’9” or 5’10”. He’s just round like a bowling ball. Seeing him beside Obama would be a funny picture, both of them a little weird looking physically.
No Christie.
Good post.
You are right on so many points...I plead guilty to ‘perfectionism” ha. Its so hard when one is as perfect as I am to see any flaws in another....ha.
I think we will control all three branches next year. And when we do its time to get things done. Until then I don't see how it happens.
Thanks to the Dear Leader we don't even have a budget.
I too feel that the Tea Party has influence WAAAAY beyond just the Presidential election..they will influence in the congress and put pressure on whoever is elected.
I’m afraid to go to that Wal-mart site you linked. I thought I saw a flash go off the other day when I was in there.
