Posted on 10/05/2011 3:17:46 PM PDT by TheBigB
Take it for what you will...posted on Mark's page just now: BREAKING: GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN TELLS MARK LEVIN SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.
If Mitt gets in forget ever having a conservative or even a Republican president for the next 30 years. It won’t happen, he will bring down the GOP with him.
How is conservitism or AMERICA served by electing a RINO/Liberal? It cannot be.
- - - - - -
You are right it cannot. I admit I have additional issues with Mitt other than his political record because I lived it, I know a lot about his mindset and his culture that most Americans aren’t aware of or could even really understand unless they had been part of it.
I don’t understand why people think Mitt would be any way acceptable.
LOL ... not sure exactly why but LOL ... Must have been where it (this post) fell on the exchanges (now that calm and can think again ... LOL).
Are you on that kick again?? If you took your own stupid advice above you never would have pinged me today. You were telling someone else this before ...who was it?
I bet you told kids in school to pull the fire alarm on you.
Thanks again for making it even more fun:)
I’ve been called worse. JR was in on the conversation and it was appropriate to ping him as a courtesy.
Now, would you please answer my questions. Here I will repost it for you....
And would that part be voting for Romney if he is the nominee (God forbid)?
I know very few who say (or admit) they will vote for Romney in the Primary, however I see a lot of I will vote for Romney if he is the nominee on here. At what point between primary and election do conservative values go out the window in favor of a Pyrrhic victory?
Courtesy ping to JR.
Glad to oblige. I wake every morning and cannot wait to entertain you. I live for it! ;)
No, I won't answer your question.
I don't know where you come from, but here in the US asking a person how they intend to vote is definitely frowned upon.
At least it used to be. Still is by me.
Go ahead and draw any conclusions you wish (but something tells me you'll be way off the mark).
Gosh, should have skipped dinner. There’s a food fight going on in here.
I really think a lot of it goes back to the whole human need to be liked and accepted. People see the media barrage of “Mitt is in the lead” and don’t want to be on the ‘outside’. It’s the whole high school clique thing. Most want to sit with the cool kids at lunch and hang around the ‘popular’ people.
The media feeds that, in fact, thrives on it. I mean this is a country that now hangs on the word of Kim Kardashian. it doesn’t take much to influence them.
Then there’s the fear factor. Four more of Obama!!! MY GOD NO ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!
And critical thought, if they ever had any, goes flying out the window - and along with it, conservative thoughts, principles and values. And all it takes is a promise from the very people backing the enemy to get most ‘conservatives to do just that.
“Hey, this MIT has the answers and he’s not an ‘extremist’ like those fanatics in the TEA Party...you don’t wanna be seen with THOSE PEOPLE do you? Mitt’s the cool guy, rich and has good hair. He’s the safe choice...come on...all your friends like him!!”
That’s the BS they push. The words they use are not too different but the reasons are the same. And people buy it. They know they will never fit in/be accepted by/with the Dems, do they ‘settle’ for the next ‘cool’ clique they are told to.
OK, I'm open to hearing your plan. Lets say (God forbid) MR wins the nomination, and all our primary choices lose & go home.
Its the first Tuesday of November. Tell me how you propose advance conservative values from that point.
Well, I’m not going to vote for the rat bastard marxist/progressive Romney and that’s for damn sure. You want to call me an Obama agitator be my guest.
Your non answer speaks volumes.
I, too, will do (and vote) in a way that I believe is in the best interest of this country and that is two fold...
1) I will fight Romney’s attempt to gain the GOP nomination and
2) I will NOT vote for Romney if (God forbid) the idiots of the GOP establishment make him the nominee.
This country is too valuable to vote for a lying socialist scumbag like Romney.
editor-surveyor quite literally knows that all early published polling is “push polling” to sway opinion.
Carling hasn’t enough gray cells to understand that fact.
LOL. Total non answer and it isn’t like you haven’t hinted or like no one else here doesn’t state how they vote or intend to vote.
The only ones who avoid answering the question are the ones who have something to hide.
Your statements earlier make your intention well known.
I’ll help. Read the following posts and it’ll all become clear.
Lastly and of little consequence 1488
Either Obama wins, or MR wins.
That is reality. End of story. No amount af crying, fist shaking and pleading will change it.
If Obama wins we're 100% certain of the results - bad sh*t.
If MR wins we're 95% certain of what will result - more bad sh*t.
The real question is do you think the 5% chance something positive might result from a MR administration is worth your vote?
If not, stay home or write in a protest vote. I won't judge you - I've been sorely tempted to do the same. But don't judge me if I take the 5%.
So very true.
See 1510 and 1517. ‘nuff said.
Coward. ‘nuff said.
An audit of the Fed would be feckless.
The Fed has to be stripped of any power over our money. That power constitutionally belongs to the House of Representatives, and it must be returned there.
Cain has no understanding of that fact.
This was the most disturbing part. As conservatives we're supposed to be "on the same side" yet that went out the window. FR's version of The Lord of the Flies.
Glad you asked. You aren’t going to like it, but It’s what I see happening. Now “critically” look at world/American events and where they are headed. And please tell me where you feel I am wrong.
We are 150 milion idiots and 150 million people that on a good day can agree 10% of the time. Whether Mitt or Obama is elected, we are done. Fire and brimstone/CW2/Road Warrior done... because both support the very policies that created the collapse. So how do the very policies that caused it fix it? Explain that. In detail. Europe is collapsing and the China bubble is starting to pop. Middle East is going nuclear. Look at Mitt’s Mass. and Obama’s policies and show me the functional difference. Higher taxes/gay marriage/abortion/mandates et all.
We survive. We rebuild a better country under the Constitution. Or we perish.
And if you don’t think that’s a very real possibility, please explain how electing Mitt is going to change that based on his historical record as Governor.
Look up. The sky really could be falling.
If MR is the nominee the GOP will go the way of the Whigs, the GOP doesn’t need to exist and MR will be their death and I will do all I can to see that happen.
The GOP has fed us RINOS for far too long. The conservative need to revolt and either take back the GOP or rise up a conservative party.
Values matter and I will stick by my principles over a Pyrrhic victory. MR may win the battle but he will cost us the war.
I wonder if JimRob wants to be associated with such an intellect.
Jim, I bow to your dominance here.
The primaries haven’t been held yet and it may not be Romney. I object to those who are already stating they will boycott the GOP, not just Romney.
But this brings up the issue. If the GOP nominates Romney will Free Republic not permit members to support the GOP?
I guess the answer is darn close to no, but Jim I have to ask you to please think about anything that will help reelect Barack Obama.
ping to 1521. Your opinion?
>> “I believe she was going to run but realized that the MSM/REP EST pollsters still rule the day” <<
Not even close.
It’s the economic crash that is coming in the next few months. Its mostly Europe right now, but it will take down BofA, Chase, and Wells Fargo, and there is nothing that can be done to prevent it. Being president is not going to be a very charming job when we are down to the Zimbabwe level.
There’s no way on God’s green earth that I will vote for this lying communist/progressive rat bastard:
Watch it all the through if you dare.
I call it like I see it.
If I had been asked, I wouldn’t hesitate to answer the question.
I suspect JR wouldn’t have a problem with that.
Besides, it is hard to have an intelligent conversation when you refuse to converse and dodge simple questions put to you.
Two thoughts: one, thats not an action plan, its a forecast. And two: given what you’ve written, whats it to you how anyone votes in a Obama/MR matchup?
And there will be no campaign for Romney on this conservative site. Those who wish to push for his progressive/abortionist ass are more than welcome to do it elsewhere.
No Romney. Not on my watch!! The progressive loving GOP RINOS can KMA!!
How much do you make a year?
You need to scroll way back in his posting history, and see that this is the way he has always been, on every subject.
Calling him a steaming pile is relative praise.
You really need to stop obsessing over me. I clearly fill some important hole in your life, but you need to get over it.
Go away. Forever.
The whole point is to AVOID an Obama match up. Do you disagree with my assessment of the outcome? If so, how and why? If you AVOID putting 2 libs up for election there is a chance at avoiding my ‘forecast’. Is that not desirable?
Otherwise you get ‘action’ in “AR2” A lot of it...just like the first time.
Not knowing what to think since I’m a N00b, and have moved on since Sarah is not going to run, and will work against Mittens, and cannot vote for mittens is all can (Cain) understand at this point. If was not clear, could maybe I play a card too? My cards say pass and defer to a higher authority. Actually, I have the old maid card and ain’t even that sex. To be perfectly clear. Bless me, for I have been to the top of the mountain, and someone at the top of that mountain threw rocks at me. I’ll be quiet now.
I was behind Michelle Bachmann when Palin fans were trying to drive down her positives and I'm STILL behind her even though they've largely succeeded and Palin has bowed out.
I'll go for Cain or Santorum anytime.
I'll do whatever is within my meager power to avoid a MR candidacy. In my cowardly way, of course. Is that clear enough?
I offer this freely and of my own free will, and because you didn't demand it from me, as your friend has been doing.
Well, my friend, I’ve posted a thousand times that there will be no campaign for this abortionist, gun-grabbing, big government mandate loving progressive (communist) lying bastard on FR:
If he gets anywhere close to the nomination, FR will go 50% into the anti-Romney mode. The other 50% will be anti-Obama. They’re two sides of the same progressive/communist coin. And if the RINO GOP establishment decides to go all in progressive, then that will be the end of the GOP as a conservative opposition party and the end of the GOP as a viable political force. Long live the real second party, the TEA party!!
BTW, have you ever had irritable bowel syndrome? What color undergirts do you usually wear?
No, you told me earlier and Im with you there. Any of them are worlds better than Obama/or Romney.
The bottom line is that the BO/MR matchup must be avoided.
And may I suggest you consider a .308 instead?
A 308 instead of what? ConfuZed...
I really need to check into a good pair of glasses.
Hey, I understand. It was just a habit pinging the usual list to a half-post. Say no more.
More than enough but it varies from year to year. My husband has his own law firm and I own several rental properties. According to most I am one of the ‘evil rich’.
I’ll do whatever is within my meager power to avoid a MR candidacy.

Well, that is good news we can agree on. Where we seem to differ is what to do if the stupid establishment gets their way and manages to get MR the nomination.
I will not vote for MR ever, even if he is the GOP nominee. I cannot, in good conscience.
The point is its not necessarily cowardly to refuse to answer a question that the asker has no right to demand an answer to.
