You are right it cannot. I admit I have additional issues with Mitt other than his political record because I lived it, I know a lot about his mindset and his culture that most Americans aren’t aware of or could even really understand unless they had been part of it.

I really think a lot of it goes back to the whole human need to be liked and accepted. People see the media barrage of “Mitt is in the lead” and don’t want to be on the ‘outside’. It’s the whole high school clique thing. Most want to sit with the cool kids at lunch and hang around the ‘popular’ people.
The media feeds that, in fact, thrives on it. I mean this is a country that now hangs on the word of Kim Kardashian. it doesn’t take much to influence them.
Then there’s the fear factor. Four more of Obama!!! MY GOD NO ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!
And critical thought, if they ever had any, goes flying out the window - and along with it, conservative thoughts, principles and values. And all it takes is a promise from the very people backing the enemy to get most ‘conservatives to do just that.

Fire and brimstone/CW2/Road Warrior done... because both support the very policies that created the collapse. So how do the very policies that caused it fix it? Explain that. In detail. Europe is collapsing and the China bubble is starting to pop. Middle East is going nuclear. Look at Mitt’s Mass. and Obama’s policies and show me the functional difference.
