Posted on 10/05/2011 3:17:46 PM PDT by TheBigB
Take it for what you will...posted on Mark's page just now: BREAKING: GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN TELLS MARK LEVIN SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.
No and none. Again, your point?
No Prob. It was the BO/MR thing looking like “bomb” wasn’t it?. I noticed that after I posted the Confused thing.
Hey, it was a reasonable question I asked given your ‘anyone but BO’ statements.
Anyone but BO does NOT EVER include Romney in my book. It does appear that you would find MR vote worthy if it came to BO/MR matchup.
This is conservative site, like I said earlier it is not uncommon for posters to state who they will vote for, and I have strong suspicions about those who refuse to answer a question 99%+ of Freepers will gladly answer.
You posted AR2 and I saw AR15!
I have nothing to hide regarding my vote. You on the other hand may...
However, be warned, you will not be doing this country any favors in voting for MR at any point.
OK, gotcha ;)
Yea, in that situation a 308 would have a bit more muscle behind it ;)
>>Available soon at a flea market near you, 3 for $1:<<
Freaking hilarious — but brutal!
pissant, is that you?
I’m not really the mean beotch that I come across as sometimes, but the thought of anyone voting for Romney really gets me. There is a ‘history’ there if you will.
Have a great evening!
Wasn't it sooooooooo cute when she had that reality show and went camping with Kate Gosselin?
Agreed and you too. :)
You soil this forum.
Romney is NOT a Republican.. I will never vote for him.
As do you and all of your attacks on Palin supporters.
Holy crap, there really *is* a Jim Thompson on FR. Never thought to check before. :’o
>>You soil this forum<<
You soil yourself. Clearly regularly.
Now go away. Forever. Fix whatever it is in you that is broken and needs me. I can’t be your crutch.
Forever means forever — VI
“The world now waits on her endorsement.”
That’s sarcasm, right?
Wrong, Cain knows and has said that anything having to do with the Fed has to be done through Congress first. It wasn’t until the last debate that Ron Paul agreed.
The only thing that needs you is the bottom of the septic tank.
-——Her time will come-—
Jim, I love Free Republic and have for many years. I admire you and everything you have accomplished.
I consider it an honor to hear from you even if it was to take me to the woodshed.
I know you despise Romney and the chances of your supporting him are nil. The guy I was arguing with was jumping the gun I think and attacking the GOP beore any primaries are held.
Jim, I agree regarding Romney he did many liberal things in Massachussetts. I supported Thompson last time and would have supported Palin. Cain, Perry and Bachman are fine as well (even Perry is suspect on illegal immigration).
No matter who the GOP nominee, I have to be on the anti Obama half of Free Republic. That goes for Hilary too if they run her. Barack Obama is the worst example of a president in my lifetime (includes Carter, Johnson and Nixon) and he’s getting worse every day.
It sounds like you favor Ron Paul. I agree that the Fed is a bad idea, but I can't agree with your certainty that it must be 'stripped of any power.' Remember, the Fed came before we left the gold standard, so the power to create fiat money still lies with the Treasury, technically.
Under a gold standard, the Fed can't collude with the Treasury to print money, but the likelihood of that is still pretty low. Without severe reform, the best we can hope for is that the federal budget will actually stop expanding. This is only possible with a Republican president WHO IS ALSO A CONSERVATIVE. I don't hold out hope for the establishment just rolling over in the primary process, but they are weak.
I don't know why you think Cain has no understanding of that fact. He did serve in the Fed, in the belly of the beast. Replacing the Fed is something that must follow other, more basic reforms.
In my view, the Presidency is not the place for the on-the-job training.
Of the top tier candidates with full awareness of his warts, Perry is the most proven pro-life, pro-RKBA and experienced candidate. He has my support.
We will have to agree to disagree then. I cannot vote for Perry at all, not with his record on illegal immigration and his poor showing in the debates.
You are arguing with folks who assured us Sarah would run, it was all genius and anyone who disagreed with the most minor utterance was Satan and needed to be zotted...as they gleefully called in the dogs
these jerks should be ashamed of themselves but just look at them
they have damaged the forum and should not have been tolerated
and some have been like that since way before Sarah had ever been heard of outside Alaska and had been exiles from here
Romney will likely skate from here .Palin was his only real obstacle..none of the rest are up to it doesn’t look like..or the odds are way high (Cain)
“The danger in your view is that it feeds the arrogance of politicians and that is the last thing we need.”
The logical error in your argument is this: you are saying that because dipwads like Romney can develop delusions of grandeur, we should never admit that there could be great leaders.
There can be, and we need one now. Too bad that there is no one among those vying for the Stupid Party nomination who could be even a marginally adequate leader.
Not a single one of those reprobates is fit to hold public office.
Your argument that “Our Savior is the only one who can save us, not a politician and that includes this country as well”
is equally flawed.
Our Lord does what He does, and Caesar does what he does. Nowhere that I have seen does Our Lord say, “If Caesar is a horrible tyrant, I’ll take care of it. You don’t have to do a thing.”
Has it ever occurred to you that the US (and the world) are under condemnation from God? That maybe we deserve what we are getting for turning our backs on Him?
“I will not vote for MR ever, even if he is the GOP nominee. I cannot, in good conscience.”
I can’t vote for any of those dastardly liars. (Cain may not be a liar, but I want to see whether he is a racist. A huge majority of American Negroes are.)
Huh? Anyhow, why are there Palin supporters left at all? She fooled all of you. Go watch the Undefeated again and wish about what could have been if she hadn’t played you for the fool.
I’m happy to see you took my advice, Jim! We have five or six months to get rid of Romney!
Calm down, Norm. Your ignorance is showing again.
I find it interesting that I was called out in his mea culpa post, but whatever. Clearly Norm is not a serious conservative nor a serious poster.
You didn’t even PING me in that post. That’s cowardly, isn’t it?
You are nobody’s fool.
” the zot patrols they had and the glee over it which zapped some decent long term posters was the worst pack behavior I ever saw here
and all for what?”
Naught : )
Wow, this guy went twelve years between posts, and he PINGS Jim Robinson to tattletale on FR regulars.
Norm, seek help.
This sucks that she isn’t running.
“Has it ever occurred to you that the US (and the world) are under condemnation from God? That maybe we deserve what we are getting for turning our backs on Him”
Of course it has occurred to me.
I also remember Genesis 18:26, where God in His mercy would have spared Sodom for the sake of ten righteous men.
You mean you are shy to speak to the doctor yourself and you want me to to do it on your behalf? That figures, LOL.
Why is it crazy? If Gov Palin becomes a king maker and Cain seeks the endorsement of the tea party, there’s nothing to prevent the Tea Party from appointing Gov Palin as a sort of ombudsman to keep an eye on the POTUS and insure that he doesn’t go off the rails.
Has anyone played her statement backwards?
