Take it for what you will...posted on Mark's page just now: BREAKING: GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN TELLS MARK LEVIN SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.
>>Stay home. Build a third party alternative to the gop. Its about 20 years past due.<<
That worked so well in 1992, it HAS to work now.
Oh, well...now’s as good as anytime to start drinking again...
Who’s got the “well, bye then” graphic?
Opus out zot.
Make Mittens the nominee and you wee n00bie will GET Obama reelected.
Facts are facts.
However feel free to vote for a baby killing, fag supporting, global warming believer and gun banner if you want Odinga back.
” She thinks her supporters will still go see her in droves, when she has yet again, quit!...”
This is what gets me.
If you dared to cite her resignation in AK you were relentlessly pelted with “She did it for the people of Alaska” bilge. She genuinely quit to save herself money.
But, now, after never having declared herself a candidate or running for anything, she is being called a two-time “quitter” by the very people who assailed you a mere 24 hours prior for suggesting any such thing...???
That is not logical, folks. That’s emotion. That’s not good.
I hope this is a great big lesson for a whole bunch of people.
Most Perry supporters knew Palin wasn’t going to run.
I was saying that a couple weeks ago when he won the Florida straw poll. There was SO MUCH ground open on the Right for a likeable, easy going, well spoken, candidate who could clearly articulate Conservative views that the first person to get there would win.
I don’t understand the people who didn’t want her to run. They never explained that to me in a clear way. so it never made sense to me. so i just assumed it was polling static.
she should have tried atleast.. to win the Presidency. She will never what her haters say to her grave. But the regret of not trying to save your country could and should sting
I see you are as civil with others here as you are with me. Nice to see you spread the love around. I have a good idea for your next tag line now that your current one has expired: (You all suck and are RINO Trolls. Bite me.)
“So you palinstas can KMA while you are dining on crow. As 4P pointed out, you contributed to the darkest and most dismal times in FR history. Your hate was only surpassed by your denial and complete lack of decorum.
You people owe me and folks like 4P and payment will be extracted. Revenge is sweet but payback is...well you know.”
As you pointed out earlier, irony is...
Well, you figure it out.
“There are plenty of pro Perry nasties on Perry threads.
All candidates have their bad supporters. If you take that as a key reason not to vote for somebody then you’ve got a problem.”
Sure, there were pro-everyone nasties to varying degrees, but none of the others ever turned me off to their candidate. I realize my experience is purely subjective but I’ve never seen or experienced anything else like a certain subset of vile pro-Palin obsessives on FR.
I’ve been in deep for Palin and now I’m leaning toward Bachmann. I know Michele’s stock is down right now but there is a lot of time for the wheel to turn again.
I betcha Steve Bannon isnt too happy he made that film now. What a thing to do to him!”
I feel really sad for this guy Singleton in Iowa. He sounds amazing. A great organizer and a hard worker. But, man, he’s gotta feel a little sad right now....
“I like Cain, but he has no, meaning NO, political or governing experience and would be a horrible choice.”
Take a real hard look at our current leadership with all of their political and governing experience and what they’re managed to do with it.
Thanks Alex, I’ll take “politically inexperienced conservatives” for $500.
Will this do?
Welcome back. Take your shoes off. Set a spell.
With responses like this, I can't imagine why freedumb2003 would be angry with the way supporters of Gov. Palin treated those who didn't support her.
Stupidity never leaves you, once you got it, it’s yours forever.
The election is not over, we have more than a year to go.
I was 100% for Palin until I had to face the fact that the trashing by the media had enough effect that she would be difficult to elect - supposedly even the majority of Republicans didn’t want her to run. I vehemently oppose what was done to her but the reality is that it worked. And it became obvious that Sarah recognized this as well. Her last interview with Greta said it all. She was talking up Herman Cain and talking herself down. I’m very very sad - and angry - at what has been done to her by both the left and the RINOS. But we have work to do. We need to elect someone other than that mad communist who is now in the WH. No time for tears.
[Obviously she has her reasons and Im not privy to them but we needed her and she will not be there.]
My guess is her polling led her to believe she couldn’t win. Too bad. She would have made an exellent President.
Excellent post, in fact I’d say POST OF THE DAY.
It wasn’t that we did not want to see her run. it was that we wanted to see her in the debates, on the trail, and battling it out w the others.
her rabid supporters shouted everyone down, trolled every thread, attacked everyone else, and made this site a 24 7 smear machine.
palin never had any intention of running from day 1 and you need to accept that.
>>As you pointed out earlier, irony is...<<
You seem to have a new and heretofore completely unknown definition of “irony.”
Sarah Palin is young yet. Unlike some, I don’t think she is over because she didn’t run.
She is lovely, energetic, a great marketer.
She could run for a Senate seat, do more TV. Who knows?
Maybe she will put out another book on all this.
It’s not just the right message. It’s the right messenger with the right attitude. Easy going, doesn’t fluster, willing to take the fight to Obama...he’s exactly the guy we need in the WH right now. A truly inspriational story of a man who came from nothing and earned everything.
I do feel your pain—as you well know....I hope we all can be civil and unite behind someone who, while not as much the “white knight” as Sarah had become, will be passionate for the things we, as conservatives, hold dear.
....and will rid the white house of the vermin that has taken up residence there.
I am tempted to post (without names) all the emails I got from people who agreed with me (and the small number of people who dared speak up) but who didn’t want the flak and grief (and outright hate).
But writing styles sometimes can point to the poster and I take the rule about no reposting PMs very seriously — even when anonymized.
A sad day in American history.....
Big news day.
Putin never plans to grow old or die.
What do you expect from a jerk probably hates women!!!
Thank you! I am sick and tired of all of the quitters on this page. Those people who know, just KNOW, that this once proud Republic is finished. I disagree. My support is with Cain, but with people like FREEPERS and Tea Partiers, our nation won’t be lost without a fight. And fight like hell we will my friends. Now, let’s go defeat Romney and Obama.
So what did you infer from my implication then?
Sarah Palin is on Greta right now.
If she doesn't run now it's inconceivable that she'd EVER run.
When is the Republican candidate ever going to be more likely to win?
And the thing of it is, she's now completely irrelevant. The only reason she got any attention at all is because she MIGHT run. Now, she'll get about as much attention as Christine O'Donnell.
The behavior by more than just a few Palin supporters was well beyond the "standard" FR aggressive discourse. Well beyond.
She bought a house near McCain’s and another FReeper buddy of ours.
There were rumors some time ago she might run for Kyl’s seat.
She still lives in Alaska for the most part, I think.
He has my attention.
>>Putin never plans to grow old or die.<<
He is going to disguise himself as Wilford Brimley and hop a spaceship?
(thanks for giving me an opening for a little fun)
The conservative base would have been split between her and Cain, thereby handing the nomination to Romney.
She said all along that she would NOT run if a genuinely conservative candidate was running that could win. The Cain surge has provided her her answer.
I seriously doubt that someone can carpetbag their way into office in Arizona the way Hillary did in New York.
Fox News - Greta Van Susteren
Sarah did us a favor - she faced reality. I would have supported her for POTUS and I support her decision not to run. I will support her future endeavors. At the moment I'm supporting Herman Cain....so far so good with him.
