Cain rails against Wall Street protesters

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain on Wednesday called the Occupy Wall Street protesters anti-American and anti-capitalistic.

"Don't be jealous, don't be envious," Cain said as he signed copies of his memoir. "I don't have much patience for someone who does not want to achieve their American dream the old-fashioned way."

More than 400 people attended the event. The former head of Godfather's Pizza pulled up in front of the Barnes & Noble bookstore in a black luxury bus, and he entered the store to cheers and applause.

Actually,I think the one from Mittens that tops that statement is when he was asked why none of his sons had ever joined the military and served their country. His disgusting reply was that his sons were serving their country by helping him to become president. What a weasel :-(

I continue to Pray you are correct in saying the pendulum is swinging to the right again. There are very few of us left who remember McCarthy and the truth of it, ask the young, (i.e. the Occupy filth), they wouldn't know who you were talking about.

I think this group must be the spawn or grand-spawn of the Hippie/flower children, raised by them which would explain their attitude and appearance.

Taken out of context, his words do seem cruel. Taken in context though, directed at the 99er occupy wall st crowd, they’re resonating.

The rest of society is at the end of their rope with the “give us more” crowd. We’re tired of busting our rear ends and then hear these whiners complain how unfair it is to work, and pay for school, and take responsibility for their own lives.
