Several influential New York lawmakers have received threatening emails saying it is “time to kill the wealthy” if they don’t renew the state’s tax surcharge on the millionaires, according to reports.
“It’s time to tax the millionaires!” reads the email, according to WTEN in Albany. “If you don’t, I’m going to pay a visit with my carbine to one of those tech companies you are so proud of and shoot every spoiled Ivy League [expletive] I can find.”
Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos reportedly received the email, as did Assembly Majority Leader Ron Canestrari. The governor’s office did not tell the New York Daily News whether the governor himself received the email.
The email, with the threatening subject line of, “time to kill the wealthy,” was detailed and disturbing.
“How hard is it for us to stake out one of the obvious access roads to some tech company, tail an employee home and toss a liquor bottle full of flaming gasoline through their nice picture window into their cute house,” wrote the author of the email.
The email references terminology that has been used in the “Occupy Wall Street” movement - that of 1 percent super-rich exploiting the remaining 99 percent of Americans. The angry message demanded that Albany politicians “stop shoveling wealth from the lower 99% into the top 1%” and “set aside your ‘no new taxes on anybody’ pledge.”

When the PAID union thugs arrive shortly in their nice buses, with their gourmet lunches and good coffee (cookies too probably), if the protestors hold their signs, perhaps the union thugs will share their lunches with them.
Don’t tell these Useful Idiots that the union members all have well-paying jobs, houses, families, retirement and health insurance plans, and they do not intend to share any of their wealth with the idiots.
They are probably all getting bonuses as well as their regular pay, to show up and take advantage of the hard ‘work’ the protestors have been doing the last several weeks.

I saw a photo this morning of normal people coming up from the subway to go their jobs on the dread Wall Street - the secretaries, the bosses, the brokers, the cleaning personnel, the food prep people and waitresses - walking past this sleepy-eyed and still sleeping, in some cases, mob of children covered with their expensive tattoos, wearing their expensive "alternative" hair styles and dye jobs, and holding up signs about their student loans! Now I understand that they are even demanding that people bring them food because they shouldn't have to pay for anything.

Bill ayers stated that those that don’t agree with them should be rounded up and put in re educated camps somewhere in the southwest like Arizona.

100% correct. It always starts with a small minority group (e.g. the 'very' rich, the 'too' elite, the 'over' educated), then before long it moves to those who have a working tractor, those who can run a business, those who are teaching sciences/subjects that run contrary to social belief. Before long you have real progroms where any one thought to be some sort of threat (e.g. they know how to operate a ham radio) suddenly starts to disappear. As another FReeper mentioned some posts above, it is easy to see the progression in France, Russia and China (at different times, but with very similar effects). There will always be an overhang of the poor to the rich, the not-as-educated to the very-well-educated, the workers to the owners; and the issue is that even with 'redistribution' this will always be the case (until we get Star Trek replicator technology, whereby if one wants to get a meal, or a 60 year old bottle of wine, or a vintage Lamborghini Miura, or fuel to fill up your modern Ferrari 458 ...all you need is press a button and voila you have the product) ...until we get Star Trek replicator technology for the masses, there will always be an overhang of the poor to the rich - even with redistribution. The only change is that instead of someone trying to 'share' my Mercedes 2-seater Sportscar (that I love to tear up and down Nairobi's roads) they will be trying to 'share' the other person's old beat-up bicycle and 'share' their seed-corn for next year's harvest.

What does the author of the email think the government will do with the extra money it receives from this surcharge?
Does he think somehow he will be the beneficiary?
