Obama, the loner president

Beyond the economy, the wars and the polls, President Obama has a problem: people.

This president endures with little joy the small talk and back-slapping of retail politics, rarely spends more than a few minutes on a rope line, refuses to coddle even his biggest donors. His relationship with Democrats on Capitol Hill is frosty, to be generous. Personal lobbying on behalf of legislation? He prefers to leave that to Vice President Biden, an old-school political charmer.

But inside the Beltway, the legacy of his relationship, or lack thereof, with Democrats on the Hill remains a problem for his jobs plan — and, by extension, his political future.

A senior Democratic strategist told my colleague Chris Cillizza recently that “the person running out of air most quickly” is Obama himself, and there may not be many who come to his rescue.

“We’re about a year out from the elections, and the senators are turning to their own races,” the strategist said. “They don’t have a lot of energy or political capital to spare for the president at this point.”

Bottom line - this President wants the perks of the Presidency, including world class treatment, fawning press, fawning world, etc., but wants nothing to do with the day to day work required to make intelligent decisions. His approach is “my way” without taking time to consider that “his way” may not be the best way. He is lazy, arrogant and is really nothing more than a puppet for the mob and the Chicago way. He resents anything remotely resembling work and would rather golf and dine with world leaders than be consigned to the drudgery that is required to make a truly great leader.

I'm seeing more and more comparisons to Clinton in the MSM lately.

But why is there only a comparison with Clinton in this article? George W. loved people and rarely was there a day when we didn't see a photo of him in the middle of a crowd.

Another thing missing from this Obama administration...pics of him in the Oval Office with world leaders.

Seems he disdains spending time with them as well. Bush? Couple times a week, not including phone calls.

Then there are the brilliant articles he wrote while editor of the Hahvahd law review.

And his flawless voting record in state government and the US Senate.

Not to mention his stellar pronunciation of POKeestan...

Obama is not stupid....he is doing the left wing thing full tilt...he has won and if he looses to Mittens he has still won...the press will still go to him and pander like with Clinton...the Left has destroyed the country....it may never make it back...we will see in 2012...House and Senate races and GOP senate primaries ...will Sarah win or the RINOS..

Profile of a sociopath

Interesting excerpt from that webpage, below. Do these traits sound like someone we know?

(1) They are habitual liars. They seem incapable of either knowing or telling the truth about anything.

(2) They are egotistical to the point of narcissism. They really believe they are set apart from the rest of humanity by some special grace.

(3) They scapegoat; they are incapable of either having the insight or willingness to accept responsibility for anything they do. Whatever the problem, it is always someone else's fault.

(4) They are remorselessly vindictive when thwarted or exposed.

(5) Genuine religious, moral, or other values play no part in their lives. They have no empathy for others and are capable of violence. Under older psychological terminology, they fall into the category of psychopath or sociopath, but unlike the typical psychopath, their behavior is masked by a superficial social facade.
