I read your link, now check this link... Taxation in the United States From Wikipedia Both links do not address the debt issue. A new tax system means nothing if you don't address the current scheme of rising debt. You are just going to piss off the new taxpayers and the old taxpayers because no where does Congress change their spending habits and the worse the economy will get with either the current or new tax system.
