I doubt Iran would ever strike Israel first. They are sneaky, underhanded backstabbers with no stomach for an open confrontation with anyone. The Iranian leadership would rather supply some else with the means and then sit back and watch the carnage.

Other posters are right. Why should Iran attack Israel, any more that they attacked Iraq or Afghanistan?

They just supply the weapons and stir the pot and let the other idiots get killed doing the attacking. But just as in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Iranians are in the war, they are just letting others do the fighting.
