....”New Hampshire allows independent voters to participate in the Republican primary, which favors candidates with support beyond the traditional Republican base.

That’s among the reasons why Huntsman, considered more moderate than his rivals, is staking his political future on the state. Facing weak national polling and financial strains, the former Utah governor recently relocated his national headquarters from Florida to New Hampshire.”....

Look on the bright side, in New Hampshire, Rick Perry is polling just above the Ebola virus.*

*Please note the the margin of error in the N.H poll is 4.7% which means that the Ebola virus may be more popular than Rick Perry.

While Cain may have endorsed Mitt Romney in 2008, Rick Perry endorsed Rudy Giuliani.

I guess you’d also say that this is still Bush’s economy??

Almost NO ONE in Texas supported McCain in the primary.

McCain couldn’t scrape up money in Texas, as it was going to Giuliani.

But today it is Cain and Romney. It is 2011.

“Almost NO ONE in Texas supported McCain in the primary.”

By the time the 2008 Texas Primary was held, McCain had secured the GOP nomination.

Yes Perry supported Giuliani in the GOP primary. Giuliani prosecuted our enemies with zeal, as governor dug NYC out of the mess it was in and was strong on national security. And would only appoint strong constitutional conservatives.

Get over it.

Tell me how Cain and Romney differ. People are asking

I won’t even give a click to AJ-C. Unfortunately have found them so extremely Left that I cannot believe anything they publish no matter.

Waste of time for IMO.

Fine...Then N.H. doesn’t get to cull the herd first then...If they are apathetic, then I think another state(s) should get to do their primaries before them...

....”New Hampshire allows independent voters to participate in the Republican primary, which favors candidates with support beyond the traditional Republican base.

I find it disgusting that the NH GOP allows this. As the first state to hold a primary and the importance of the same, it is ludicrous that they open it to liberals.

If I were GOP Chair, I would tell NH that they will lose their starting position if they don't restrict the primary to registered Republicans only.

If NH persists, I would invalidate their delegates.

I am sick and tired of our nominee having to cater to Massachusetts liberals in New Hampshire.

“...But only 11 percent said they have definitely settled on a candidate.”

I suspect that figure would hold throughout the nation. The campaigns all have a long way to go. Much will change as time goes by. I may lean to Perry but I am watching the whole field.

Debating skill is an attribute well down on my priority list. We have an incompetent president now who is a well skilled debater. It is background and experience that will tell how he/she will manage the nation and what policies and integrity to expect.

Erik - not only is the primary open to liberals, but with no certification of ID - we get MAggots from our neighbor to south plus out-of-state college ‘students’ as ‘walk-in’ voters.

When I voted in 2008, the parking lot at the polling place - a local high school had a very high number of cars with mASS. plates - I guess we had a lot of visitors that day.
