Case is crazy...
Murder of a 10-month old, 999 times out of 1000, is either the mother or her boyfriend.
This isn’t rocket science.
That there’s a BF is no surprise, and makes mother’s guilt a near-certainty.
What if it was a set up?
Have someone take the child, possibly out of state, hide the child for a few weeks, then suddenly the child is turned in or found anonymously. Meanwhile the parents are on TV and getting all kinds of support and sympathy, and maybe a book or movie deal after the child is ‘recovered’............
I know I read where one of the children’s last name is Bradley and the other is Irwin, leading me to believe each of them had one other child and that Lisa was theirs. Now I read both of them are Deborah’s children. I saw a picture of what I am assuming is one of the boys and he appears to be mixed race. How many baby daddies does she have? And who was she with at the grocery store buying wine and where was baby Lisa then? So many questions...
—Satan stalks this world and I believe the baby was kidnapped.—
I remember one night a couple of decades ago my 8 year old daughter swore that a guy tried to climb in her window in our suburban neighborhood. We went out to the yard with a flashlight and made sure nobody was there. We humored her but really assumed it was just a dream.
The next morning I went out to the window and there were obvious foot prints.
It happens. We were fortunate. The Lord was answering our prayers.
Good one.
Somehow, I don’t think Mrs. Bradley and Dr. Lecter are in the same social milieu.
Dr. Lecter drinking wine out of a box? Just can’t see it.
I doubt the mother could fake that grief. She is literally beside herself.
But yes, someone could have disappeared that baby for any number of nefarious reasons.
5:30 P.M....How far away is the store? Who was watching the baby?
It was 5:00 p.m. - not late in the evening.
Mom will flip quick, probably in the next 24 hours, turn state’s evidence, implicate the wine buddy. The dad looks bewildered.
IIRC, it’s pretty rare for a stranger to enter a house and abduct a child.
I’m so confused. Who lived in the house and what were the relationships?
I think that kidnappings from your own home by a complete stranger are probably very rare. More likely to be an ex-someone, neighbor, milkman, repairman, ect.. than a silent stalker in the night. Evil does exist, but ususally, somehow, you have invited it upon yourself.
Who knows, if they have no outside suspects, they have to ratchet up the stress on the only people they do know are involved and see if someone cracks.
Look up Kyron Horman(sp), here in Portland we had a young boy disappear under very suspsious circumstances, very strange activity by the mom(step?) but to date there has been no arrest or conclusion.
I spoke to a German woman in Cologne 20 years ago who said she was convinced Hitler was a moral, religious Christian, when he was a bitter, evil athiest. Jibes with polls that showed that despite 80% of Germans owning Mein Kampf, less than 10% of them actually READ it. They made Hitler into a vessel, wherein they placed all their hopes for a return to German greatness and honor. People always believe the best in their icons (and friends and families) and will not believe the worst, even ignoring facts and evidence until the end.

I agree with you 100%. That said, I still believe that every single case must be made on its own merit. Your statement above does explain why the police were looking at her and the BF from the moment this was reported.
Reminds me of a car that crashed in front of my house at around 3 a.m. and I saw the driver take off in a friends vehicle. After the cop got there he and I were talking. He said that in a lot of cases like this the owner will dash home and report his car stolen to avoid responsibility. He was barely done with his story when he was called to the radio. He came back to me and said the car had been reported stolen.
Oh, and the “friends” vehicle that picked up the driver drove by about a half hour later and I said to one of the cops (there were three cars there by then) that it was the vehicle that picked up the driver. One cop took off after it and returned a bit later with the original driver in the back seat. Yeah, he was the owner. :-D
People really don’t understand that police learn, through experience, what kind of things perps come up with to hide their actions. I have no doubt that when a “non-rich” couple calls to report a child abducted that the first thing that goes through their mind is to check to see if it is a mother and BF and then look for clues that the BF did it. No doubt whatsoever.
In a country of over 300M people, 125 incidents is “very rare.”
Heck, he wouldn’t drink wine with a screw cap!.............
Hey;)
Although this is the top crime story - there is a shortage of information on the family structure and time lines.
Another Casey Anthony/Kyron Horman mystery.
One more illustration of random coupling where children are always the innocent victims.
—This case has some really odd situations that just dont seem to fit together. —
explaining “what happened lat night at the party.” It doesn’t fit together for a very simple reason: They’re lying.
With the proverbial teenager, it’s kinda funny. With stuff like this, it isn’t.
