Anti-war protesters plan to storm the inside and outside of the Hart Senate Office Building at 11:30 a.m. today, with the intent of causing enough havoc to shut business down.

David Swanson, one of the original organizers of the October 2011/Stop the Machine protests — which is distinct from the Occupy D.C. protests in McPherson Square — explained the plan to an assembled crowd of less than 100, mainly elderly protesters in Freedom Square Tuesday morning.

The plan is to send protesters into the Hart building in small insurgent groups, which will begin causing chaos at 11:30 a.m.

What are they going to do, block the entrance with their scooter chairs?

...mainly elderly protesters...

Want to bet these folk's homes still have Che and Jimi Hendrix posters on the walls, black lights, hanging beads in the doorways, clouds of incense, rolling papers and a bong on the coffee table?

They're just re-living their youths.

As someone who worked in DC for several years. I would advise the protesters that this a VERY bad idea. The capital hill police DO NOT play around, especially when it comes to secure buildings such as this one. They will get medieval on your a$$ and won't hesitate to use live ammo if they think a serious threat is eminent.

I REALLY DO know people exactly like that!
And they are living off of public sector pensions, too.

with the intent of causing enough havoc to shut business down.

And who exactly is going to notice that business has been "shut down"...it's been nearly 900 days since they passed a bleepin' budget.

If Beck’s prognostigations continue to show credence, this is exactly what the protestors want and the media is perfectly willing to propogandize what transpires.

Secure your tray table in the upright and locked position kiddies and tighten your seat belts. Radar shows turbulence ahead.

(I know, you cannot see turbulence on rader but you can certainly see the clouds that create it)

Obaba’s mobs would not think of occupying the White House.

Despite Obaba being the one in bed with Wall Street and Obaba being a multi-millionaire rich guy.
