I fully expect my post will get yanked too, I just wanted you to know what its like.

Perry's numbers are declining. Tough. The graphic was funny.

Just mentioned on Foxnews, and they are trying to confirm, that NBC is reporting that Romney aides visited the White House during the health care debate to advise Bowbama. Again, Foxnews is efforting a confirmation of the NBC story.

I liked in that debate that Herman Cain said he would pick Newt when he is nominated...
+++++++++++

BUT as I recall Before Cain answered he said this is just a game? Right?

>>>I tried to raise legitimate concerns about Perry. I live in Texas and this guy has been a personal thorn in my side for years.<<<

Ahaaa....now we're getting to the bottom of this. Sounds like maybe you took the budget axe from the legislature? If not, care to share why he's been a personal thorn in your side for years?

I'm also a Texan and nearly lost my job due to the cuts. Rather than whine and sniff about Perry, I recognize he's a true FISCAL CONSERVATIVE and balancing the state budget comes before my precious job.

Its called BIG picture and not being selfish, in my case. Not sure about your's. My guess is you'll go silent and continue to view Perry and his supporters as mean and nasty for your own selfish reasons.

Is that right on the money?

As I recall it, Cain said he would pick Gingrich. Perry said he would pick a hybrid of Gingrich and Cain. Romney said he would pick Cain. You may want to DVR that and try again.

You're the one that needs to check the DVR. Romney said any of the people on the stage were better than Obama. In other words he did not pick one.

Cain made a joke about Romney if he'd drop his jobs plan and went on to pick Newt.

They all knew if was just a hypothetical. I think Newt was the one that called it a game. Cain said he'd play the game, joked about Romney then picked Newt.

vI have a daughter with an autoimmune disorder. At the time of the Gardasil fiasco, there was no medical opt-out. Only a religious exemption. This was a serious threat to my daughter's health. I was about to pull her out of school and start homeschooling again when things were finally straightened out.

I am a property owner. Perry's enthusiasm for Eminent domain really upset me. Private property rights are important to REAL conservatives. The fact that families were facing losing old family farms was a problem.

My step-father, the man who raised me, was killed by an illegal alien who then fled back to Mexico in order to avoid prosecution. Perry's lack of support for Jan Brewer upset me. The fact that he didn't say or do a darn thing about our sanctuary cities upsets me. The fact that I'm paying higher property taxes in order to provide and education for the children of illegal aliens upsets me.

ow, do I believe that ANY of that will sway you in the slightest?

Nope. You're a Perry supporter. You've already heard all of this and it didn't matter to you in the slightest. You'll twist his record to try to cover up the stink, call me names, then march on to troll the next thread.

I only answered because you asked why I had a personal problem with Perry. Now you know why. His decisions had the potential to affect, or did directly affect, my life. I see that man as a direct threat to my family's welfare. He has poor decision-making abilities and he does NOT have a foundation firmly rooted in conservative ideals.

IMHO, Cain does.

ARG isn’t that accurate, but it does display a trend, I suppose. I will not be disappointed if Cain wins....but if Romney wins because we’ve been divided so heavily among the conservative candidates....then I’ll be incredibly angry at the conservative establishment for following the media by it’s hand.

Romney should have been the target at day one...yet we’ve barely seen him attacked, even by fellow ‘conservatives’ running for office.

Well I apologize to you, Marie. That's quite a heavy burden and I am sorry for what you've had to go through.

I would ask if everything is Perry's fault? Unlikely. But I can understand why you feel the way you do. I am very sorry that I was rude to you.

Rush just confirmed this also.

So, why, why, why is Cain for Romney over Perry?

This is why little doubts about Cain creep in for me.
