Let them wallow in their own filth.
When they get enough of it they will move.
Now they get Maid service?

Gosh, I just read a post yesterday where the author stated that the demonstrators are organized and have things so well under control that the area sounds like it must be cleaner than it is normally.

Disease, drugs and crime would thin the ranks if they were just left to wallow in their filth.

The DUmmys over in the DUmp are all in a tizzy about this. There is an effort on the part of the protesters to have cleaning supplies, brooms, dustpans and powerwashers donated so that they can cleanup the park themselves.
Of course one would have thought “in-house” park clean up would have come up in a meeting say 3 and a half weeks ago but hey, more important matters are before the movement.
Anyway, if such a move to clean up after themselves were to materialize, can you imagine the city unions allowing non-union pick up of trash and untrained operators of powerwashers within the city limits? What happens when jonny protester gets a hernia picking up a trash bag?
Lots O DUFU material out there on this move to clean up the park.

The young Flea-Baggers in the People's Republic of Portland, Maine yesterday were very small in number—few tents maybe a dozen or so in the park, few hand made signs and people driving, walking or skate boarding past, acting like they aren't even there, going about business and life as usual.

Why are the taxpayers footing the bill for the city to clean a “privately owned park?”
