Not quite sure I understand your calculus.

It is pretty simple: If you can't stand the heat, you shouldn't be in the kitchen.

I believe Herman Cain has both the strength and the character to stand the heat. Because what he is getting now is mild compared to what he will get as the nominee.

I've very impressed with candidates who have the intestinal fortitude to take on the liberal smear media. They are as much the enemy as the libtard ruling class for which they cheer lead.

Reagan was excellent at understanding and utilizing them against themselves. I saw nearly the same quality demonstrated by Sarah Palin. I now see that Herman Cain has it as well.

Very interesting strategery. Maybe Palin can be the go-between in the Cain / Gingrich conversations.

I have a feeling that Palin’s doing a lot of work right now behind the scenes.

Sure hope so, as Rush isn’t exactly ‘Vibbing’ me today.

Here’s what I’d like to see happen.
1. Cain stops painting himself in a corner by saying, 999 is a starting point;

Yo, numbnutz, you can start by going to www.hermancain.com and reading his full tax plan.

If you took the time to do that, you’d see that 9-9-9 is a STARTING POINT, leading to his FAIR {flat} tax plan.

The corner is in your, in the box, self centered head.

More learning about Herman’s plan, less spouting off about what you’d like, and you wouldn’t look so self important and ignorant.

If your feathers just got ruffled, tough it out.

Yo yo yo, Francis,
If you think because the website says that, then the US population must understand that, then you are mistaken. The US population in general don’t listen past CNN’s sound bites, and many out there just listen to NPR...not even Fox explains the 999, not even Cain explains the 999, and, the media clearly won’t give him time to explain it. So, how does he get the message out? Hmm, by loud mouths calling his own team member a numb nuts? Well, gee, that should work.

Like Thompson dropped out before the SC 2008 primary? By staying in even though he didn’t have a prayer, he gave the victory to McCain launching him into Florida and Super Tuesday? I suspect the establishment will keep enough second and third tier folks in to divide the conservative vote.

Wow. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Not me. Stupidity always makes me see red, and since I'm a nasty bastard on my best days, richie, just happened to to ax for opinions on his ignorance, caused by his laziness.

Just curious, why would he be OK for VP, which would make him President at any possible moment if something should happen, but not OK for President?

Not that I’m wanting Newt for either one; just wondering.

Where can we get that button?

I can't remember where I copied it.

I just printed out and pasted it on one of my ball caps, but if Herman keeps going, I'm going to have tee shirts made and sell them on the net.

In Herman’s 2004 Senate campaign, he said that he opposes abortion in all cases, including rape and incest, except when the mother’s life is threatened:

I don’t think you’ll get much better than that.

OMG you are a racist, bigot, anti immigrant and anti Texas!!! Shame on you!!! Only La Raza Rick can win against Obama!!! I'm voting for Rick Perry as a write in because I believe Texas is more important than all of the other states and therefore we are superior to all other states.

/SARC but I'm sure we'll hear this from Perrybots today!!!

The guy who was drugged like Michael Jackson during the last debate. Too many benzos = bad debate performance = YOU ARE IN 4TH!!! I'll send you a FReepmail with 2 Words that would get me banned :)

“..., and field a united ANTI MITT CANDIDATE...”

My preferance is to vote FOR someone not against someone.

If you’re voting against someone you’ve already lost.

I’ll gladly vote FOR Cain, just as I would have gladly voted FOR Palin.

Rasmussen is heartless, a bigot, a racist, anti-immigrant, and anti-Texas (everything I've been called since Perry entered the race...)

Go Cain!!! And yes, GO NEWT!!! Newt and Cain atleast can stand up to these loser moderators during these stupid debates.

BTW Huntsman is a loser who shouldn't be even invited to debates and I want to see someone smack Romney's smirk off at the next debate.

Sorry Perrybots, I don't hate Perry or Texas, but his debate performances = too many benzos, and his immigration policy is worse than the most liberal of Republicans who have traveled to Israel to discuss the importance of building a fence. But La Raza Rick rather have them get free in state tuition and their votes!!!

Ya don't like that most FReepers support Cain? Go develop your own website, like the Rudybots did and I think it failed after a week...

Have you ever had your picture taken with someone you wish you hadn’t been seen with? I have...and if I qualified otherwise to be president I’d sure hope that the public wouldn’t be petty so much as to write off all of my positive traits due to being photo’d with Nancy. Let’s forgive and move on.

I want a clear, no wishy-washy position from Cain on LIFE. Pro-Life is not an issue....it is a God-given, unalienable RIGHT.

Life, liberty & pursuit of happiness starts with unborn life
The Founding Fathers got it right. The Founding Fathers got it right because of those fundamental principles: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They also got it in the right order. That wasn’t an accident. Their vision meant that you could pursue happiness in America as long as you don’t infringe upon the liberties of somebody else. And you can pursue all the liberties that you want as long as you don’t infringe upon the life of anybody else. And that starts with the life of the unborn.

Life begins at conception, period
I believe that life begins at conception, period. And that means that I will have to see enough evidence that someone I would appoint shares that same view. I believe that the current Supreme Court is leaning too much to the liberal side.

I’m a Christian, I’ve been a Christian all my life. I’ve been a believer in the Bible since I was 10 years old. I’m very active in my church, and there is no way I would compromise my religious beliefs about the sanctity of life. And so it starts with, will they have demonstrated, in some of their other rulings, if they come from the federal judge bench, whether or not they also share that.

Because I believe that the principles that our Founding Fathers cherished, when they founded this country, and wrote the Declaration of Independence which inspired the Constitution, they were based upon biblical principles. I want to get back to those principles as president, if I run and get elected—not rewrite those documents.

Watch Fox news and other GOP elites double their efforts to knock Cain and promote Romney

Its already started. I support Perry, but Fox is already on Cain's back as of today. So is John Gibson on Fox Talk radio. You folks better dig in your heels and start squinting. lol

The same poll show that Cain also edges out Romney in two-man scenarios:

Cain 43%
Romney 42%

Cain 54%
Perry 29%

Romney 54%
Perry 30%
